TRANSFERRING YOUR CREDITS Do you want to know how your credits will transfer? Browse our transfer databases, TIS and STAR, to learn more. STAR The Student Transfer Assessment Report (STAR) is designed to reveal how the University of Wisconsin-Parkside will award credit for transferable courses. The equivalencies may satisfy different degree requirements depending upon your specific major or program. In addition, course revisions or changes in requirements may cause equivalencies to change. Therefore, it is the your responsibility to: o Discuss specific circumstances with an advisor o Review STAR for periodic updates and o Retain printed copies of dated STAR. Printed copies of dated STAR reports will guarantee transferability for the term and year printed and the upcoming term. TIS Many courses have already been evaluated and determined as transferable. As a Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS) student, you can use the Transfer Information System (TIS) to help plan your transfer. uwp.edu/transfer
I chose to transfer to UW-Parkside, because it was close to home, which allowed me to save money as well as work – and because Parkside is accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
