ATHLETIC EVENTS Sports fans looking for a team to cheer on, need look no further than the Rangers of the University of WisconsinParkside, the only NCAA Division II athletics program in Wisconsin. Our teams — baseball, basketball, cross country, golf, softball, soccer, track and field, volleyball, and wrestling — are frequently championship and tournament participants. Grab a pom pom and we’ll see you in the stands!

Our professional designed courses are woven through out our beautiful 700-acre campus featuring 18 challenging holes with both professional and amateur tees. Never played? No problem! Simply put, Disc Golf is golf played with a Frisbeelike disc. Your target is the steel basket. Each hole is scored according to the number of throws a player makes to get his/her disc from the tee to the basket. It is free and fun for all skill levels. Newbies are always welcome! The Disc Golf Proshop, located in the University Bookstore, has the largest selection of discs in Southeastern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. So, just buy a disc and grab a course map!

SPORTS & ACTIVITY CENTER The Sports and Activity Center (SAC) serves as the home of Parkside Rangers and features a variety of athletic, fitness, and recreation related spaces. A SAC membership provides you with access to the Petretti Fieldhouse, Pool, Strength and Conditioning Center, and Wellness Center.
In the Fieldhouse you can take advantage of three full-size basketball courts (which convert to four tennis courts, six volleyball courts, and six badminton courts) and a 6-lane 200 meter track, capable of hosting indoor track and field meets. Many of these facilities are available for rent.

CONFERENCE & EVENT SERVICES From meeting facilities for conferences to the University Ballroom for larger programs, the UW-Parkside Student Center has it all. Conference rooms range in size and can accommodate a small office luncheon or multi-day conference with breakout sessions. All rooms include LCD projectors, projection screens, computer hook ups, CD/DVD players, microphone, podiums, white boards, teleconferencing capabilities, and wireless connectivity. The Conference and Events Services staff is always ready to serve you. Our professional catering staff is well-trained and fully prepared to cater to your specific tastes and schedule with an array of delicious options.

CROSS-COUNTRY TRAIL The Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course has garnered nationwide-acclaim for its scenic routes, demanding paths, and spectatorfriendly layout. Try out the course, which is located on the west end of the UW-Parkside campus.

ALL members enjoy twice-monthly free lectures and programs at Parkside. These cover a wide variety of subjects: current events, health, history, travel, the arts, etc. Our speakers are experts in their fields and welcome questions from the audience.

ARTS AND CRAFTS FESTIVAL
ARTS AND CRAFTS FAIR
The University of Wisconsin-Parkside celebrates creativity and craft each June. The campus becomes a colorful marketplace with approximately 200 artisans offering unique handmade pieces. Proceeds from the event benefit UW-Parkside music scholarships.
Each November for more than four decades, Parkside presents the Arts and Crafts Fair. The main concourse of the entire complex is brimming with handmade pieces. Proceeds from the event benefit the Dr. Steve McLaughlin Student Leadership Scholarships.

FOREIGN FILM SERIES
SCIENCE NIGHT
For more than 34 consecutive seasons we have assembled 14 internationally acclaimed films from thirteen different countries. The selections are recognized by critics as some of the best cinema the world has to offer, collecting prizes from international film festivals and award competitions such as the U.S. Academy Awards, Cannes Film Festival, CĂŠsar Awards, Berlin International Film Festival, and the Asian-Pacific Film Festival.
Going strong for over 12 years, Science Night has become a staple of programs featured on Parkside’s campus. The series features exciting presentations and lectures about various science and math topics and issues.
