Preregistration and payment is required ahead of time for all Center for Community Partnerships events unless otherwise noted. Register online at www. uwp.edu/go/ccp, by calling 262-595-3340, or through the specific contact information provided with the event description when applicable. When registering, please be sure to include your correct phone number and email address so updates to events can be communicated to you if needed. If you plan to mail a registration form with payment, be sure you do so at least two weeks before the start of the event for processing.
Cancellations/Refunds
A full refund is issued to participants if the university cancels an event for any reason. You may also choose to cancel your registration at least five business days prior to the start of an event for a refund of event fee, minus a $5 processing fee. No refunds will be issued if notice is not provided at least five business days prior to the event.
Weather Cancellation
Events follow the university policy if there is inclement weather. When UWParkside classes are canceled, events will be canceled as well. Hoarding Disorder has been vastly misconceptualized until recently, which is why it has finally been recognized as its own unique and distinct disorder. Because Hoarding Disorder is not OCD, it mandates appropriate and unique treatment interventions that actually work! Conceptualize the chaos specific to compulsive hoarding and learn treatment strategies that actually improve patient outcomes. Delve into the phenomenology associated with compulsive hoarding, brain structure differences, and comorbid disorders. Become familiar with assessment tools and interventions, motivational interviewing specific to compulsive hoarders, including case studies that illustrate the findings and prepare you to truly help your clients who hoard.
