Match is a training and employment program for vulnerable young people at Nørrebro in Copenhagen ASKOVGAARDEN April 2011. Af Line K Sidenius
Why is it important to contribute to the integration of vulnerable young people in Denmark with other ethnic backgrounds than Danish? Because if we don't:
Divided connections between youth and the established community Increased minority groups Increased exclusion Leading to riots and youth who have difficulties in asserting themselves into labor ASKOVGAARDEN may 2012. Stockholm Af Line K Sidenius
Previous generations: + Unskilled work = Socialization agent
Now: ÷ Unskilled work + Education = Socialization agent

It is society´s job to manage the group of young people who do not get an education. ●The young people and their networks deserve a chance.
and We as a society is forced to produce skilled manpower to maintain the level of prosperity and Welfare as we have. ASKOVGAARDEN may 2012. Stockholm Af Line K Sidenius
We are therefore forced to find new ways to get vulnerable young people integrated into society.
It requires bridging between: ◌ Social workers ◌ Businesses ◌ Schools and the public system

Match is an new and original approach The youths are not seen - or treated as a problem.
◌ Match works instead on three levels with the young people: 1. Business Standards and Conditions 2. Training Standards and Conditions 3. Strengthening young people’s personal skills

A.) Skills to identify their own goals and desires B.) Skills to identify social reality C.) Skills to identify appropriate actions based on their own desires and their position in different parts of society. ASKOVGAARDEN may 2012. Stockholm Af Line K Sidenius
Match contributes to increasing the access disadvantaged young people have to employment and education by creating increased flexibility among employers and educational institutions. At the same time Match also gives the young people the necessary support and the critical skills necessary to act on the above flexibility. The project is thus an important contribution to increasing social cohesion and a stronger integration. ASKOVGAARDEN may 2012. Stockholm Af Line K Sidenius

The cooperation model where each of the cooperating parties contribute in these ways, supports young people´s education, in a way where Match breaks with negative social inheritance, ensures mobility and increases the chance of socially vulnerable groups integrating into society.
At the same time the project is also a new method to handle young people with no possibilities for education in relation to vocational education.
