HÓDMEZŐVÁSÁRHELY
The Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Szeged is located in Hódmezővásárhely, a municipal town in southeastern Hungary, a mere 25 kilometres away from the University’s centre in Szeged. The agricultural training in Hódmezővásárhely has a past that dates back to more than 120 years. Agricultural higher education started in 1961, and the Faculty became a part of the University of Szeged in 2000

Completed secondary education (senior high school diploma, secondary school leaving certificate or equivalent).
English language competence - intermediate level (B2 - IELTS 5.0 or equivalent and above); language exam certificate is not required but preferred.

SERVICES OF THE FACULTY FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
International students are accommodated in the twin rooms of the Dormitory, which is located in the campus area. In the dormitory building, a restaurant is open at lunch time 7 days a week. Free wifi is available in both the faculty buildings and in the dormitory. All printed and online resources, as well as the services of both the agricultural library at the Faculty and SZTE Klebelsberg Library in Szeged are open for international students. There is a basketball court and a gym at the campus, and a swimming pool in the town that available for students. The integration of the international students is facilitated by student mentors of the Faculty. International students are welcome to all regular celebrations and international programs of the Faculty as well as to the parties organized by the students’ union.

Student and academic staff mobilities are based on the Erasmus+ scholarship program.
