Political Preferences
"Studia Politicae Universitatis Silesiensis" ISSN 2353-9747 (electronic version) is a scientific journal of the Institute of Political Sciences of the University of Silesia in Katowice with particular emphasis on public policies (Evidence Based Policy). We are interested in the forms and mechanisms of systemic solutions to key social problems by the state in consultation with representatives of various interest groups, especially at the local and regional level. The editors of the journal will primarily prefer articles with an empirical dimension. In the first and second quarter of the year volumes are published in Polish, and in the third and fourth in other languages. The journal provides immediate open access to its content on the basis of free public access supporting global exchange of knowledge. Currently, it belongs to the group of journals scored by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
"Political Preferences" (e-ISSN: 2449-9064) is a semi-annual open access scientific journal with the social science profile that shows interdisciplinary approach to the problem of electoral behavior, particularly the factors determining political identifications. Until 2015 journal has been published as "Preferencje Polityczne" (p-ISSN: 2083-327X; e-ISSN: 2449-9064, from no. 6/2013 "Political Preferences" functioned as parallel title). The editorial staff is open to collaboration with various research centers in the country. Journal is published by the Institute of Political Science at the University of Silesia and the Center for Innovation, Technology Transfer and Development Foundation of the University of Silesia. From 2019 Political Preferences is official journal of the Central European Political Science Association (CEPSA). Since 2017 the journal is published only in electronic version.
