Welcome to our wedding; we know you could have been anywhere in the world, so we appreciate that you choose to share our special day with us. Today climaxes our dream to be together, and it is especially wonderful to celebrate with our families and friends. Your presence gives us the utmost happiness and we could not have asked for anything more. Each of you have touched our lives in one way or another, and our love for each other is a product of your love, friendship, and support. We would like to thank and welcome everyone, not just for being here, but also for being part of who we are and who we will become. Most especially our parents who helped to make us who we have become. Today would not have been possible without you. To our wedding party, words cannot express how much you mean to us. We are honored to share our special day with you. Over the past few months, you all have provided the utmost support, love, and encouragement. This day would not have been possible without you. We know that many of you traveled a significant distance to be a part of our special day, and for that we express our utmost appreciation. We love you and look forward to celebrating with you not just this day, but many more occasions to come. Most especially, we thank our parents. Our Love Story
INTRODUCTION BY FELIX
O
ur love story is a modern day fairy tale; it is magical, unbelievable, and a dreamcome-true kind of story. We met each other on Facebook in 2011. During the succeeding months after Sabita accepted my Facebook friend request, I mesmerized at her beauty. Through her pictures, Sabita gave me a glimpse of her life. I knew she went to church often because she always posted Sundaypictures. For three long years, I asked Sabita out to dinner. Every time I asked, she gracefully declined. Any ordinary man would have walked away, but my persistency never diminished. CONTINUED BY SABITA Felix and I had our first date in 2014 in Washington DC. At our first dinner, I was smitten by his intelligence. After our date, I was excited I finally took Felix up on his offer to have dinner. The next day, he sent me flowers at work with a note that read: “your smile is more magical in person.” He hasn’t stopped giving me flowers and loving me in small, but special ways since. There was something very fascinating about Felix, and although I played "hardto-get" for a few months after, I couldn’t help but notice how different he was. I loved that he was a great listener, funny, and extremely caring. We went on many dates that summer, and I soon realized how much I enjoyed being with him.
I love Felix because he possesses all of the qualities I sort in my leading man. His love for God was very evident. As a scholar, his drive for success and to be the very best version of himself inspired me to be a better version of myself. He makes me feel like the prettiest girl in the world. I love spending time with Felix, sharing laughs and experiencing new adventures. I know he has stolen my heart because I am mesmerized in his presence and time away from him seems too long. Saccharine to the core; a sweetheart to everyone she meets. Attractive; even a blind person can see that. Benevolent; goodwill is her natural tendency. Intelligent; her brilliance keeps me in check. Talented in more ways than I can describe. African queen; yes a real life African queen...and you may say because I too am royalty, I have no choice but to make her my queen.
As we embark upon this journey of love, it is our prayer that God allows us to be everything we pray for. We are looking forward to living and loving forever after. #Gbeesinlove |
