Interview with the what was your first impression? Him: Dang, she is tall like me and she is cute with braces. Her: He is SO fine! But he is also SO goofy.
what was your first date? Him: We went to a bar on our first date. We spent some time playing pool, eating, and drinking. Her: We went to a bar. We talked for hours, had drinks, played pool and enjoyed each other's company.
who initiated the first kiss? Him: Even though I think I initiated the first kiss, she probably will tell you differently. So I will give it to her. She initiated the first kiss after our fifth date, possibly. Her: Reggie!
what's the most interesting thing you've learned about each other? Him: Through all her adversity she maintained an enormous amount of grit and strength. She allowed nothing to derail her from her biggest purpose in life. Her most outstanding hobbies are a professional Taboo game player (even though she cheats), photographer, and mixologist. Her: Reggie is a planner! If I bring up a vacation or an idea, he will spend the rest of the night
thinking about how to make it work. He will create an entire file of photos, links, videos and any and everything related to the idea.
who said "i love you" first? Him: Me! I said I love you first. I remember it like it was yesterday. I gazed into her eyes after a hard day of work with a slight smile and said, I love you. Her: I did! Reggie was leaving for work and as we were saying goodbye, I blurted it out. Whew! I was so nervous, but he said it back right away. He likes to tell people that he said it first, though.
what is one of your favorite memories? Him: Each of our vacations together are memorable. There was this one time we took a vacation to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for my birthday. We decided to spend 1â „2 the day hiking a mountain. It was most memorable because we had to cross through residence backyards, hop over fences, tightrope over a foot-long beam and dodge animals LOL. After all of that, we climbed to the top of the mountain. 30 minutes later, we reached the top of the mountain drenched in sweat, no air in our lungs, and Jasmine was nearly in tears. I'm not going to lie, I had doubts of making it to the top but I knew I had to push through in order for Jasmine to
push through, and we did it! That vacation brought out the best in us and made us stronger. Her: Without a doubt, my favorite memory is our trip to Bali. We spent an entire week in Bali right after the school year ended and it was a MUCH needed vacation. We stayed at a fancy hotel, ate great food, enjoyed cheap massages and just relaxed and really got to know each other on a deeper level. We were able to spend time together without alarms and without anyone else that we knew. It was absolutely amazing!

e Bride & Groom what do you love most about each other? Him: The thing I love most about her is that she is perfect for me. I love the fact that she is wise, has a gorgeous smile and soul, and she lives on the edge and keeps me leveled. Her: EVERYTHING. There are truly so many things I love about Reggie. I can count on him for ANYTHING. I love how comfortable he makes me feel. We can sit and talk for hours and hours, even when we’re both tired. He is my BEST FRIEND
and will do whatever it takes to make me happy and I love him so much for that.
when did you know you'd found the one? Him: I knew she was the one from the beginning. Her: I started to realize that I didn’t want to ever be away from him. I was always anxious to see him again. We would talk all day and night and it never got old, I knew I could do this forever.
what's next for you two? Him: Our next vacation is to the Beautiful Santorini, Greece — one of the Cyclades islands in the Aegean Sea. Our future goals consist of a job change (for Reggie), Becoming first-time home buyers within the next year and a half, then start a family. Her: Our honeymoon! Two weeks in paradise. I. CAN’T. WAIT. When we get back, we will start focusing on buying a house. My mom wants grandbabies, but she’ll have to wait a few more years.
The Proposal

As told by the groom After going back and forth on how to plan the perfect proposal; questioning if the weather would be awesome, what date I would decide on, what time, would the most important people show up for this special moment, and most importantly, would this be the best surprise for Jasmine, I finally planned the perfect surprise. Jasmine and I love flying, but neither of us have been on a helicopter. She had mentioned a few times that she wanted to go on a helicopter ride. I took this as the perfect opportunity to surprise her with the helicopter and a proposal. I wanted this to be perfect for her. I planned the proposal for months, and finally the day came! I made one more phone call to the helicopter team before my future fiance and I took the drive to the helicopter place. Our helicopter ride wasn’t scheduled until 3pm, so I had to hold in my excitement all day. Steady trying to keep this a surprise from Jasmine, the countless vibration from my phone did not help. Even though she already knew we were going on the helicopter ride (It was one of her Christmas presents), I blind folded her as we walked to the helicopter to throw her off. As we lifted off the ground, I glanced down to see both our families running from one building to the inside of the helicopter place to prepare for the proposal. I was so anxious and nervous, but I managed to keep my composure throughout the entire helicopter ride. Before our final turn back to our base, I blind folded her again. We landed, I got out first and was so excited to see both of our families waiting patiently. For a brief moment, I almost forgot that I invited so many people. Before I opened Jasmine’s door to let her out of the helicopter, I silently told the family to keep quiet so she would not hear a sound as we walked down the walkway. As I guided her down the walkway, I held her hand; the sound of the propellers from the helicopter made my heart beat faster. I felt as if I were moving in quick-sand by the second making my steps slower and slower. We stopped near the end of the walkway. I stepped out to grab the ring before returning to Jasmine. I whispered in her ear, “remove the blind fold”. As the blind fold fell to the ground, the music began to play, our families screamed of joy, and Jasmine immediately fell to the ground crying once she saw the posters that said, “Marry me”. I got down on one knee and asked Jasmine “to be my wife”. She held out her hand and said “YES”! After we hugged and kissed through celebration, we went to greet our families. She remained in disbelief while hugging each family member and thanking them for cherishing this moment with us. This proposal was the best day of both our lives.
