Interview with the
BRIDE & GROOM What was your first impression of each other?
her: Because I came to know Dwayne in an unorthodox manner (FaceBook) my first impression was who the heck is this dude? But as we continued conversation in the DM, yes it goes down in the DM LOL, I found him to be a breath of fresh air. His comedic nature kept me in stitches and that is what made me fall in love with him. He continues to keep me smiling. him: I thought she was beautiful and I loved her beautiful smile. Her dimples were mesmerizing. What did you do on your first date?
her: Our first date was to the dine in theatre. I don’t recall the movie we went to see,but after eating and having a margarita I totally passed out in those comfy recliners and missed the whole movie. him: We went to the dine in theatre to see Dark Knight Rises. Tara fell asleep after her margarita so I watched the movie alone. Who initiated the first kiss?
her: Dwayne initiated the first kiss and it was beautiful. We were watching television and having conversation. I wanted to kiss him but didn’t want to seem too aggressive. No soon as I put the thought out of my head Dwayne went in for the sweet lip. At that point the television began to watch us. him: I initiated the first kiss. We were watching television and talking. I didn’t
really hear a lot of what she was saying because I was so busy trying to focus on a good time to go in for the kiss. Once I came out of deep thought I realized she wasn’t talking anymore. I thought this was a good time to go in for the kiss. To get her to face me I called her name and as she turned I went in for the target. Well needless to say the first kiss went on for hours. What’s the most interesting or surprising thing you’ve learned about each other?
her: The most surprising thing I’ve learned about Dwayne is his loving nature. I see this most when he talks about his mother. He loves is mother dearly and although she is no longer with us his love for her has not wavered. him: Seeing her with her family. She loves them with everything she has, especially her children. I have watched her make sacrifice after sacrifice for them and making it look as easy as flipping a light switch. What is one of your favorite memories together?
her: Hurricane Sandy. Yes I said Hurricane Sandy. No heat, no hot water, no electricity and no gas this allowed us to just be together with no distractions. him: Celebrating her 50th birthday. Tara was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in 2016 and she already had two surgeries and was preparing for a third. Although she was not feeling her best due to her

treatments she continued to smile and enjoy this celebration. The love that she received from her friends and family during this celebration was one of my favorite moments. What do you love most about each other?
her: What I love most about Dwayne is his love for his daughter and family. Being a family oriented person, this is very important to me. him: Her booty‌...lol, nah seriously though, What I most love about Tara is her ambition and her go getter personality. She is about her business. Whatever she wants she strives to achieve it. When did you know they were the one?
her: This may sound simple but I knew he was the one when he chose me.
Dwayne was patient and he did not try to change me. He loves me for who I am. All my scars and all my faults he embraced them. He loved me through it all and because he did I knew he was the one for me. him: When she created a solid relationship with my daughter. She has always included her in all things concerning us. Her ability to understand that i come as a package and her willingness to accept this made me love her more. What’s next for you two?
her: Our children are adults so our next move is to purchase a home big enough for our family visit. him: Buying a home and doing a lot of traveling.
