In 2007 Sally Torres Vega launched her eponymous label fabricating time-less garments. Her work is definitely a labor of love which includes intrincately sculpturelike silhouettes woven with natural fibers,highquality craftsmanship, with a socially responsible strength producing her work locally in the Caribbean. In her work she studies the aesthetics of movement, texture and effects of shape. She reinterprets classic silhouettes in fashion history and works around the basics of garment-making; such as the possibilities of craftsmanship and design in texture, color and form. She make clothes in order to explore a woman’s grace.
