1 Start with a piece of medium sized pearlescent blank card, bright gold has been used for this project. Using a baby wipe, lift colour from your chosen Inktense Block (Deep Green has been used here) and apply lightly in small circles to the corners and the edges of the card, this gives it a nice ‘ageing’ look.
2 Take your red pearlescent paper and trim around it so it is smaller than the bright gold card. Tear the right hand side of the paper to give a raw finish and then stick this to the gold card using double sided tape.
3 Take the card tag (you can find these in craft shops or online) and using the baby wipe technique, lift colour from the Shiraz Inktense Block and apply this to the edges of the tag.

Stamp your chosen design onto the tag, the stamp used for this project also features a ‘with love’ greeting. You can use Inktense for stamping. Just lift colour direct from the Inktense Block with a wet paintbrush and apply to your stamp. Once your design is on the tag sprinkle it with some gold embossing powder for a nice effect, make sure you add the powder when the Inktense colour is still wet. The design was then heated from the rear with a heat gun to dry the Inktense and seal the powder.
6 Glue the white ribbon to the right hand side of the red pearlescent paper.
7 Add a gold lace adhesive border next to the white ribbon.
Take some white ribbon with cut out detail and using a damp baby wipe lift colour from the Leaf Green Inktense Block and apply to the ribbon.
8 We are now going to colour in the flower pattern on the card tag. Scrape your chosen Inktense Blocks into a palette using a craft knife. Keep your colours separate; Shiraz, Tangerine and Sun Yellow have been used here. Add water and use your paintbrush to mix the colour and water together. You can also add in some mica powder to make a pearlescent finish. You can then use your paintbrush to colour in the design.

9 Using foam pads for a 3D effect, attach the tag at an angle to the front of the card. Tie the string on the tag into a nice bow. Add a gold adhesive gem either side of the greeting.
