Project Impact! Competition http://www.unric.org/en/competitions The International Labour Organization’s (ILO) Youth Employment Network (YEN) and Making Cents International have partnered to launch the Project Impact! competition to draw out the lessons learned that youth employment practitioners have experienced in the field. The result of the competition will be a series of Smart Notes published on the YEN Marketplace website. The cross-cutting theme for the competition is rural youth and increasing opportunities in rural areas. This focus is closely aligned to the theme of the 2013 Global Youth Economic Opportunities Conference. The submission deadline is 14 June, 2013

PLURAL+ 2013 Youth Video Festival http://www.unric.org/en/competitions The International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) are once again inviting the world’s youth and to share their vision with the world by submitting original and creative videos focusing on the themes of migration, diversity and social inclusion. Now in its 5th year, the PLURAL+ youth video festival is an empowering tool and platform for young people from the ages of 9 to 25 to speak out. The submission deadline is 30 June, 2013

Young Innovators Competition 2013 (ITU) http://www.unric.org/en/competitions ITU are looking for the next generation of social technopreneurs – young people aged between 18 and 26 with an inspirational ICT-based solution to developmental challenges. Ten winning finalists will be selected to attend ITU Telecom World 2013 in Bangkok, taking part in workshops, pitching sessions, mentoring and networking, plus receiving seed funding of up to USD 10,000 per project. The submission deadline is 30 June, 2013
