The Senior Fundraising Executive is responsible for work on Arab donor countries and organizations in External Relations and Communications Department (ERCD), based at Headquarters Amman. In accordance with the established Agency policy and procedures, the incumbent will: Primary Duties and Responsibilities • Conceive, develop and implement fund-raising strategies established by the Director, External Relations and Communications Department, mobilizing resources and advocating the importance of UNRWA and its mandate to Arab donor countries, organizations and individuals, in particular in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries; • Act as a full-time fund raiser for the Arab region, traveling extensively within the region; establish and maintain a high-level network of interlocutors in Arab Governments, diplomatic missions, charitable foundations, NGOs and the private sector; give media interviews;
