What motivated you to start filming skits? I started doing skits a few years ago, when one of the funniest comedians from Atlanta, Ga. direct messaged me to be a feature in one of his skits. Although I am a character in person; I was so nervous because I had never done any acting before, but as most people would say my personality belongs on TV. After being challenged to bringing a character to life on camera it really made me feel like this is good motivation for if I ever wanted to be on the big screen one day. I felt if I could do more skits to prepare for even so much as an audition, then I would be ready for the big screen.

What is something that you will always love about music? The feeling of being able to relate to someone without even meeting them in person is amazing. I love that music for some can bring peace, love, and happiness to their life. I love when people tell me they’ve listened to one of my songs and it turned their whole day around or it motivated them to believe in their self enough to go after their dreams. It’s amazing how music fits every personality there is. It’s like having twenty people in one room and there is a song that fits each person. They can relate to and /or it describes the kind of person they are. Like wow!

Promoting is you selling yourself or your artistry. It’s like when I have a new song out. I’m posting about it or sending a link to my audience for them to be able to download/ listen. Spamming is solicitation for views or money. Spamming would be like how on The Shade Room when someone is posting a false advertisement for views or sales and leaves it under every celebrity’s post.

Kat Tat’s Enigma Tattoo Grand Opening

During BET week tattoo artist, expert painter, and VH1 star opened her first tattoo shop in Beverly Hills, California. So many celebrities were in the building from Danielle Jamison, Charmaine Johnise, Van Johnson, Drumma Boy, Kris D. Lofton, Kevin Laroy, Amina Buddafly, and so much more to support Kat. Untouchable Magazine remembers interviewing Kat in the past before she had her shop and it’s so great to see her at where she wants to be in life. Next, going to her art shows and seeing and interviewing her on the carpet till finally she opens her own personal private tattoo shop. We have watched her grow up right in front of us and blossomed to be what she is today; a great role model. Check our Youtube channel for a recap of that night in case you missed out. How did you get your first big break? Who did you talk to? Who plugged you? My brother had an agency and I went and met his agent. This was at age ten and she just saw me smiling. I walked in and picked up the script with him and she asked me “If I wanted to go out and audition for shows”. I said “Why not” I didn’t really know anything about it. She sent me on two auditions and I booked one, which was an industrial film back in the day. Couple years of having pretty good success at auditions. You know booking roles and what not I finally landed a role on the TV show called “The Crazy Kids” and the rest is really history.

smiling. Book that, that ran three years consecutively ran into another “Hanging with Mr. Cooper” which went five years. Then, “Smart Guy”, which went another three years. I was just born a television actor. Which of the shows you just named would you bring back? Me personally it would be “Smart Guy”. Because it seemed like it touched a lot of people. A lot of people stop me now, respond, or reach out on social media and say how funny the show genuinely was. I’ll watch episodes now and be dying laughing like, “Man I forgot about that” we did so many shows. But if I could bring one back if would have to be that because I just had a joy. Now people are pitching me

ideas because I produce and I write now they like, “Man you need to do like a adult version of Wild and Crazy kids”. It’s funny to me because I laugh at it but you know it keeps coming up. It’s like when you touch somebody’s childhood that’s deep. What keeps you focused? Just an undying feeling of unaccomplished goals in my mind. Its funny to say that because I’ve done a lot, from television, movies, acting alongside a lot of great actors, producing now, and like I said I’m writing. I got an album that’s out. So just knowing the bigger picture is that I got a lot to do. Thirty years in the business I just had a son, he just turned two years old he helps keeps me super focused. But he is more of an extra motivation to just achieve my goals. When he was born was when I decided, “I’m going to put a solo album out”. I’ve done a lot of music in hip-hop with groups and different records labels, sealed deals and stuff like that I was just like “let me humble down and do a album”. I got a great producer by the name of Focus that works with “AfterMath” under Dr. Dre. It’s like let’s lock in, tell a story, lets get in perspective, let’s reflect on my career. Mainly my acting career because that’s what people know me as and kind of use

my platform to get some thoughts out. Get some questions answered. That’s why we labeled it “The Excuse” and also to show my creative side from a writing stand point. Talk to us about your new single Swim? What was it like recording the song and what do you want people to take away from it? Well its awesome because the story we are telling is my own story. A lot of people know me from television, movies, or Baby Boy, which has become like a co-classic like ten to fifteen years after we made it. Shout out to BET and VH1. So I really wanted to give everyone a inside look and answer a lot of questions that I get on the daily about my career, about my brother, my lifestyle, that type of thing. So with swim this was one of the songs on the album that doesn’t really drive that home. I may touch on it a little bit but I really wanted people to be able to relate all the way across the board. These are issues that I deal with, that everyone deals with, about keeping your head up. The people around you or your peer whatever industry you’re in you know a lot of people aren’t eager to help you. They’ll let you drown just to see if you can swim. That’s why when I wrote it I wanted people to think of

swim, not me I’m keep on pushing, I got a couple more songs on the album that are like that. There’s a message that I endeared that I heard through prayer, through my moms who prays, through my father that always taught me how to deal and how to think, and how to protect yourself mentality. Stay strong and stay mentally tough. So it’s something where I want people to take a listen and maybe find something in the song that help you say, “oh that sounded like he was talking to me.” A lot of times when I’ll write I’ll finish and look back like damn where did this come from and its God. He just moves the pen. Shout out to Black Soul who actually came up with the hook. I was like “Man that’s spot on that’s exactly what I was going for with the song”. I was able to do 3 verses to kind of showcase my talent a little bit. The first verse just kind of being able to do the speed rap thing and than slowed it down. Than by the third verse it’s literally slowed down. It really reaches out to people that are going through a lot of tough times. It’s a “keep ya head up” type thing. If you could pick one, what would you say would be the most memorable set you worked on and why? I would have to say it’s 50/50. Baby Boy was an incredible experience.

It wasn’t the fish out of water experience that everyone assumed. Because all they see is the television side, which is my comical side. Which is the side I prefer. People would say “What would you prefer drama’s or comedy” I’m like comedy all day who wouldn’t want to laugh all day. It was fun to let that side out, to dig deep, and lock into the character. John Singleton being the excellent motivator he is, he knows how to bring talent out of people that people may not expect. You look at the actors he used in his movies. I mean “Boys in the Hood” he took a rapper, a guy named Morris Chestnut, Cuba Gooding Jr, a woman named Nia Long. You know these are people you don’t know from acting and they come out of nowhere and become superstars you know. So it was the same type of thing he did with Baby Boy. Other than Ving Rhames everybody else was something you either knew from something else or didn’t know at all. You got a singer, you got a rapper, you got a young talent, a future Oscar winner Taraji P. Henson. So him bringing that out of a sitcom actor which is what I was then is something I’ll never forget. The pie that goes to the runners is Playmakers. I did a series called “Playmakers” on ESPN. We did one year. We filmed in Toronto. Most fun I ever had in my life. It was a real life dream because I always wanted to play sports. Even though I was acting since I was ten I was still a big guy. I was always very athletic and football was just my all time favorite sport. So I tried out for the football team the first day of high school. And as I thought about how long I’d been acting I was fully into it. I think that was the end of the Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper run. So I already knew what I was going to do and I had plenty of obligations from

the acting side. I remember the first day of school, I went to the field, we all out there and the coach is giving a speech like “One thing fore-sure we’re about here is dedication. If you’re not dedicated to this than get the hell out of here right now. As a matter fact practice starts today so be ready I don’t care what you got to do after school”. I walked over to coach and said, “Look man I definitely want to play, I got the size, I got the skills, I’m down but check this out I got to film later”. And he would say Gooding “Get out of here” I would go everyday, I would try to go through the motions with them but you know he would never give me a shot because he didn’t know if I was going to be dedicated. So with this when I booked the role and became star running back, Demetrius Harris A.K.A DH. It was phenomenal. First off Toronto is one of my favorites cities of all time. We filmed out there for about six months so I relocated, lived out there; the people were great I loved it. It was a dream come true. Not to mention I’m playing a star athlete. I’m actually going through the motions right now. I had a 40-yard dash that I remembered I had to run. Blew out both my hamstrings. I remember other athletes in the CFL League and they were looking at us like “Damn we don’t even run a forty that damn much they are working the hell out of you guys” but it was truly a pleasure and a amazing time. It was like a dream realized. I would play the star, than afterwards they be like cut, we go into town have some time you know, than be at work the next day. It was awesome. Did you always want to be a celebrity or did you have other dreams? At eight/nine years old all your thinking about is maybe school and

so forth. Music was always around but you know I went through the same list of dreams and goals like “Oh yea I would love to be a lawyer, or doctor or something like that and even college.” But God had a different plan you know. As soon as acting took off the way it was paying the bills and the way we were at that time financially. We were literally homeless a couple years prior. We went on the road, my mom put us in a car my brother, my sister, myself, and a big Great Dane. My dad was out on the East Coast out chasing money and this and that and they were separated at the time so it was just us. We hit the road and we went from homeless shelters, sometimes we slept in the car. She finally found a job in Toluca Lake area and that’s where we landed. Then my brother started his acting career, then I started my journey. But still he didn’t get his

their thing but no one seems to understand it all and you hear people talk about, “Oh slavery was so long ago get over it yo it wasn’t me it was my ancestors”. That level of desensitize it’s just amazing to me that people don’t know. It’s like maybe if it was you than you would understand I don’t know.

Oscar till many years later so I was the breadwinner while he was off doing his own thing as well. There is a nine-year gap between us. So when he was 18 he moved out. I’m nine/ten years old I’m now the head of the house you know the breadwinner. Once the first couple of checks rolled in. I hit the homerun with Wild and Crazy kids my first big break. My mom was able to retire and quit her job, then she became my manager so I was able to get her a salary and pay some bills around the house. So I knew it was entertainment. Also I’m writing lyrics in-between every take, every break I got. I’ve always knew I was going to be a entertainer. When did you first discover you were musically talented? About the 4th grade; I used to listen to a lot of hip-hop. I grew up in a household of R&B with a father like Cuba Gooding. My mom was a singer as a well she had her own deal but she decided to raise the family and me and my father kept doing the music thang. I heard a lot of new music, sang a lot at home, rap was something I found myself. My brother wasn’t big into it. My

10 |

4th Year Anniversary Edition

sister wasn’t listening to any type of rap. They were more R&B you know. But I was the one to say “ wait, hold on I like this shit, this shit is good.” I remember there was a song by Doug E Fresh & Slick Rick called “The Show”. I remember I memorized it, performed it in 4th grade, and we won the talent show with it. After that, I would always write my own lyrics and than go out to the playground area and see the boys huddled around like the older cats. This was elementary school like 4th, 5th and 6th. I would see the 6th graders rap and I would unwrap my little piece of paper and they would be like “Oh you got something little man” you know. I would spit mine and I’ll see their reaction like “Ohhhh this little dude got some spit”. I always knew I had something. Than like a year later, my acting career pretty much took off and that just took most of my time. If you could do one thing to change the world what would you do? I would make us all one race because its seem like the struggles we go through as a African-American people, it just seems to fall on deaf ears. And it’s not just our race its other races. Everybody goes through

If I could change anything it would be so that you don’t see color. My wife is Korean and German. My son now is half Korean and German half Black and Irish. I got Irish in my family I got white in my family. We shouldn’t have to worry about race it’s all about love. You love who you love. You find somebody, you live your life with them and you create who you create. You create your own kind. I think that would be the only change and not to knock God. God did a good job. Thank you for separating us and everything giving us our own identities. But this is one thing I think would help a lot of people. What is a regular day like for Omar? It’s a lot of work. It’s one of those things where I have to find time for myself. It’s being with my son, sending him off to daycare while I handle my interviews and tasks. My wife goes to her day job, you know she’s a nine to fiver while I’m a entertainer so I got a full slate of responsibilities from my live streaming network with Modo TV, to writing scripts for my episodic TV show “Family Times”. Then gearing up for the season to music. Its always on to the next it’s not what your doing now. If I do a new project the first question I get asked from the people on the set is so what’s next for you? It’s just so funny to me. Whatever job I’m doing it’s like “What’s next” it’s like okay “Can I enjoy now”. What’s wrong with this we working right now? Yeah but you

got to have something coming next, what’s going on after this.” I’m like “I don’t know I’ll like a vacation how about that”. It’s funny because now we are looking at brochures and just fantasizing. It’s like our motivation to get through the day. It’s truly a blessing to be a human you know 42 years old and I have a two year old. I do not regret my timing at all on having a child. And you know we’re not done we’re gearing up to go back at it again. Give him a playmate boy or girl it doesn’t matter. I’ll love a little girl though. I can never get everything done that I have planned. It’s just a long day but a lot of laughing you know because you got to get through everything. You got to get through stuff you turn on the news, it’s so many things you want to fix, you want to try and reach out. I like to help when I can. I’m a giver. Be in the community, be able to give somebody advice you know how to stay in the business. People are like “You been doing it for thirty years”. People can retire after thirty years that’s not the line of work I’ve chosen. If I run out of role now I can be Morgan Freeman. I can do this old. I can do this old/ young. So you just got to keep sanity by keeping those that are close around you. I spend as much time as I can with my son who is growing rapidly. He is sharp as a whip I am happy that my wife is very smart with the food she give’s him and everything’s organic and I can see it I really can. He is all natural. I just want to make sure that I’m here to see as much of it as I can because I do travel a lot but with technology and Facetime it’s awesome. He’s used to seeing me on the phone almost more than in the flesh because now he is on

his little schedule. Between that and keeping my eye on the prize with me grinding you know. Trying to get everything done and make my impact on this planet before I get out of here. Has their ever been a time where you wanted to flash on a fan? Not a fan but as far as fans go you have to be mindful that they’re fans. You have to know that without them there is no you as far as your career is concerned. I’m always grateful. People always say, “Don’t you get tired of taking pictures” like if one person recognized me because I usually stay kind of lowkey. In the sense of when I go out it’s not like bodyguards, flashy glasses and blah blah blah oh they like “Oh that’s such and such” no. I’ll be walking with my hat on and my head down or maybe have a straight face on instead of smiling and bubbly. When I’m out I’m doing that’s purposeful. I’m either shopping, I’m doing this, I’m doing that. Maybe I’m visiting some friends in a area where your like, “Well that can’t be Omar”. I know that if they want to come and take a picture oh man not a problem. It’s when they don’t want a picture it’s a problem because I’m not doing my job you know promoting my brand. I had to say things like “Let me finish chewing and I’ll take the picture”. Or I’ll be right in the middle of something but hey let’s take this picture, let’s do this or yes I’ll sign whatever it is and I’ll move on. It’s never been any negativity in that regard you know I have got into incidents with people but it

wasn’t because they were fans. Sometimes you just have to stand up for yourself, which I am a very strong advocate of. Because if you allow people to abuse you that’s when your judgment gets altered. If you’re on set and you’re at work and their overworking you and not giving you the breaks you deserve. If you don’t stand up for yourself and say “No I need a moment.” If you don’t do that then you might pop, you might explode at the wrong time and that’s happens a lot to celebrities. Where they are probably super nice or they are what they are and then that one person says the wrong thing at the wrong time and then he turned human and snapped on him and then “Oh no, get the hell out of my face.” Then that’s what their known for now. I always preach to celebrities like “Yo man look, if you’re having a bad day stay home.”

Senior Publicist & Talent Manager, Movie Producer, Franchise Owner

It’s rewarding because I take the ideas people have and turn them into realities for their business through brand exposure. Assisting businesses, events and leaders is my current niche within Entertainment PR, Food & Beverage and other sectors of my field.

Tell us about some of your new business adventures for the New Year. I’ve been asked to become a lead producer on a movie entitled, Coffee Pot created by my longterm management client, Charnele Brown, who’s best known for the character, Kimmie, from A Different World. Also, I just purchased my first franchise, Burger IM, in which I will open in my family’s hometown of Birmingham, Alabama. Explain what it is like being a female African-American publicist in Hollywood? Being an African-American Publicist in Hollywood is rewarding as well as challenging. It’s a doubleedged sword.

14 |

4th Year Anniversary Edition

The challenging portion is the unfair practices within the field. The dissemination of positions within companies are proportionately biased which makes working in the corporate arena difficult thus why a lot of public relations practitioners who are African American are firm owners. Walking Red Carpets with clients, pitching and gaining media placements, thinking outside the box for solutions to problems, and overall strategy for strategic partnerships is the bulk of my day. What made you start PS Media Talent? I started PS Media Talent because I was deemed the “Hub” in college. I somehow always knew where to go

for resources or answers for things. I’m a people person so me naturally nurturing people lead me to want to assist with gaining solutions for people full-time. One day I ran into a friend and she said we should do a business and I have a way with words, negotiating and bartering so I was a natural at publicity. I just didn’t know I was doing publicity. I love connecting people to things and things to people. We formed a company and when networking and paying my dues I ran into someone who told me that I was a publicist, so I explored it more. At first, I thought I was going to be an agent, then just a manager and ended up being a manager and a publicist. What is the difference between spamming and promoting? Spamming is just saturating the Internet and people with information that may be done in an intrusive way. Promoting is utilization of forms of paid (marketing) and earned media (public relations) to reach a target demographic of potential clients or users.

Enola What can we expect the rest of 2019. Lots of gigs and music collaborations, new music released, lots of traveling, and lots of fun. How is the music scene in Vegas? The music scene in Vegas is growing. New Music studios are being built and there have been a lot of Celebrity Dj’s, producers, & musicians working hard to bring Hollywood to Sin City. Explain what its like being a female in the industry? Working in a male dominated industry as a female singer/producer/audio engineer I get hit on constantly. I never know when someone is genuinely interested in my craft or trying to date me. I feel like I have to work harder then men to prove my worth and get to the business. It’s gotten better through the years however; it’s still a challenge. Tell everyone about the girl group you manage? The group is called “The Pretty Girls” and they are 6,7, & 8 years of age. The girls sing, dance, and act and have been performing together as a group for 2 years. Currently they are apart of The School Tour of L.A. and are getting ready to release their first single. You can find them at @prettygirlsmusic and watch them as them continue to break into the music industry. enolamusic

Tell readers about some of the trails and tribulations you experienced to open your own shop Enigma. I guess figuring out what exactly I was I wanted to do and dedicating to it. You know I was studying math when I decided to be a tattoo artist and it was a hard decision for me to decided “Okay if tattooing is what I want to do then I’m going to sacrifice this education” here at this big University. That was a big deal at the time. Then from there blessing started rolling in when I followed my gut and went with tattooing. Then we got the television opportunity, then from there it was like okay what’s next and it was like it the show don’t feel right anymore and I was like I need to move to LA. So it was another big sacrifice moving away from such a big platform and what was comfortable being from Chicago and moving from a new city. Then from there, the whole LA struggle was just a whole new roller coaster. It was up and down. Figuring it out financially, mentally, friend wise, it was all kind of up’s and down’s but after two years of being here I felt like it was time and I had learned enough and I was wise enough and experienced enough to say alright it’s time for me to have my own shop you know I been in this long enough. How is LA treating you? LA has been amazing its very different from Chicago. You know people move to LA for the opportunity and the whether, and the woman, and the weed, and all that stuff. But you know LA is full of opportunities you know so for something in a creative lane like what I do with tattooing its like all the opportunity is here so I’ve been blessed to do a lot of creative things and take my career to the

next level by moving out here but I do get home sick. I try to go back home to Chicago at least once a month just to visit all my friends and family and my dog so yeah. I already brought two plane tickets to go home in the near future. As a woman of color tattooing, do you face any obstacles in your industry? And If so how did you overcome them? I don’t face any obstacles anymore. In the beginning it was very very hard to be taken serious as a tattoo artist. One because I was in school. One because I was a woman of color. There were so many factors that went into it. When you ask people to take you seriously they don’t take you seriously you have to just show up and show out. And that’s something I did like everybody that turn me down or looked at me any type of way or doubt me because of what I was or what I could do it just motivated me even more. You know the tattoo industry is something here but it’s like I’m so much more than that as well so it’s like I felt like I went into that conquer it and just taken on other projects so I don’t really look for acceptance in any industry anymore I just do my thing and than the attention spins around. Now people are paying attention to me and what I’m doing so it feels great. You got to be really confident though you can’t let anybody else’s opinion ever stop you. You just got to push through it and go hard and really be great at what you do because

When you ask people to take you seriously they don’t take you seriously you have to just show up and show out

if you suck than you suck. I don’t suck so. Hahahaha Can you offer any advice for female artist pursuing a career in tattooing and-or art? My advice to anybody woman, anybody pursing any career is study your craft and be good at what you do. That’s the best way to get respect and recognition, attention, money, whatever it is your looking at. Perfect your craft I still haven’t perfected tattooing. Tattooing is something that you could never stop learning. I’m learning everyday from the amazing artist that I work with. Focus on your craft and everything else will come a lot of people come up to me and are like “I want to be a TV star how did you get to be a TV star?” it’s like I never wanted to be a TV star I wanted to be a tattoo artist and that came so focus on what it is that you do and be great at it. Then nobody can deny you. Follow your passion and listen to that feeling in your gut. When it’s telling you to do something listen to that. That’s instinct and that’s god. What would you say has been your top 3 most memorable tattoo or client and why? First one would be my Auntie Jane. She was battling a

22 |

4th Year Anniversary Edition

stage four-colon cancer for four years and she had it on her bucket list to get a tattoo by me. So I went out, she was on hospice, it was during her last days and I gave her a little tattoo on her wrist and we were just having such a moment and I’m like Auntie Jane you got to tattoo me. So I told her how to how the machine and she drew her name on my wrist in Korean and she tattooed me. She passed away a week later. But sharing that moment and those last days really really put me at peace and I was able to be strong for my mother you know because I shared that moment with her. Second one would be the tattoo that I did on my leg because it was like one of the first scenes that I filmed on the TV show that I was on and people still till this day are like “Girl when you tatted yourself that’s when I knew you was cold” so shout out to that because that helped my career a lot. The third one is probably my dad. I tattooed my dad when I started. He was always against me getting tattoos. You know he is very very traditional, very old school he never had any tattoos but when I decided that I was going to do it full time he’s like “I got to get one to support my baby girl”. Tell everyone one technique that you learned back when you was doing tats in the

basement that you still use today? I was smoking with clients back than I was drinking. My mom was cooking for my clients. That’s what’s I’m saying I don’t do none of that no more. Shit I don’t know I can tell somebody where the dispensary is but I don’t know I guess just vibe. That’s the only thing that’s consistent my work has got better but the conversation and stuff reminds the same like I’m still that same girl conversation wise that I was back when I was tattooing. But I really don’t do anything the same if I did I wouldn’t be here right now. Haha What’s one thing the fans don’t know about Kat? When I get drunk I freestyle. If you could talk to a 10-year-old Kat, what would you tell her? Keep doing what you doing baby you gone shine haha naw I’m just playing. I would “Mhhmm what was I doing when I was ten years old”? I would really just tell her keep going and don’t care about what other people think of you. What songs do you sing in the shower? Well I listen to a lot of early 2000’s jams. A lot of Pretty Ricky. A lot of old Wayne “Carter 2”. A lot of Avant. I’m stuck back there.

What is the deal with Shoe Dazzle? Shoe Dazzle’s amazing. I got to do a shoe line with them. I dropped an amazing commercial basically like a day in a life with Kat. Switching out the shoes for every scene was amazing but there a great shoe line. Super affordable. And I wear them like everyday. Do you prefer fast food or sit down? Sit down all day. But I love Mc Donald’s. I love Filet -O-Fish, French Fries. That was like my favorite fast food restaurant. Chicken Nugget, Steak egg and cheese bagel. They don’t have steak egg and cheese bagels on the West Coast. It’s messed up. Extra Breakfast sauce. Hahaha So you’re not dating anyone anymore? No, I’m single as a dollar bill. Loving it Are you are not looking right now? No, not at all. Absolutely not .Men are a distraction. When you have stuff going for yourself like especially a new project like its easy sometimes to be single so you can focus and put all of your energy into it unless you already have something established, set and going already. What’s the difference between spamming and promoting? So are these like real people or like bots? On Instagram anytime I post a picture of

anything. You go to my comments I have 52 comments. 40 of them would be like “Need a new logo or cartoon dm me” and like all these different emojis and I’m like this cant be a real person. If that’s a real person its pretty obnoxious because that’s not the way to get seen there other ways than just blowing up the comments but that’s spamming.

Promoting is investing in yourself; invest in some promotion you know what I’m saying. Invest in some promo cards, go out and meet people, go out and you know if there is somebody you want to do work for find a way to meet them and offer them something you know like “Hey I brought you a cookie” just to meet you or something you know. Like there are so many creative ways to promote. On social media a lot of people just want to take the easy way out and just do that. Do both. Social media is a tool so utilize it. There is ways. For example like me when I wanted to become a great tattoo artist I could easily be going and blow up tattoo artist page like “look at me, look at me, check out my work” but no I found a artist who’s work I like and I’ll go and get a tattoo from them so I can sit in there chair and

4th Year Anniversary Edition

have a conversation with them. So there is just ways to do things that will get you more respect and get you further than you know twitter fingers. What’s the ideal man for Kat Tat? The ideal man for me would be someone I could be myself around like I’m all sorts of things. Along with having their stuff together. I want someone who is on the same journey as me. I don’t want to find because I have found or been in relationships where somebody didn’t have their stuff together and I’m draining myself trying to lift them up. So I want someone at my level like my equal than motivating each other. Then you deal with those guys who are at your level or pass you like want to make you feel like you got to be something and it’s like I’m me. I might feel classy one day, I might want to be ratchet one day. Like just accept me for me. Favorite Hip Hop Album: Lil Wayne Carter 2 Favorite Fashion Line: Fashion Nova Favorite Food: Jerk Chicken & Doritos with hot sauce, steak, stuffed salmon, crab cakes, anything saucy to.

What gave you the idea to start your own talk show? I was praying asking God where do I fit in the entertainment industry. I really didn’t want to waste my time doing things that wasn’t forefeeling my purpose. So, after being very prayerful, I believe I heard God say to me, do what you do well. I was like talk, and inspire people. I love that, so the next thing you know. I worked hard and gain knowledge to produced my own talk show. Did you ever think your show would be as big as it is now? Honestly, I did only because I knew I was in my purpose and the joy I felt in creating my show. It excites me and gives me life that I can’t explain. And, me being the person I am, when I decided to do something, I see it all the way through no matter what. I expect results, because I put in the work. I really believe I’m “unlimited.”

How did you make a name for yourself? My willingness to help others opened doors for me. I believe when you give it comes back to you. So I give one of the most valuable things a person can own, and that’s my time. My positive energy, bubbly personality of living life in the moment, my sincere interest in people, and sharing their story. That within itself makes me memorable, besides my blonde hair. And, genuinely have a heart for people and giving encouragement creates a memory in the mind of people, they will never forget. And, I feel it shows through my interviews and my life. Tell readers about your most memorable red carpet experience. Oh gosh, every moment is so priceless to me. As a kid I admired these people I’ve met, so being

able to meet them and talk to them if only for a short time, is priceless. I really can’t say because I’m in awe every time I’m on someone’s red carpet. I’m just so grateful that God blessed me with this opportunity to be able to do what I love and use my gift to gab with so many people in the industry; It’s priceless to me, I can’t explain the feeling I have when I have the opportunity. For the young girls who look up to me, see that anything is possible. I want the people from my hometown to see someone from their town having this opportunity and being able to take them on the journey with me. This makes every moment I’m on the carpet memorable. When I need that boost, I reflect on those moments. You sacrificed a lot to get where you are today. What are some of your sacrifices you are still dealing with on an everyday basis? Finding time to do

Tell us about the most exhilarating moment you’ve ever had with a celebrity? Had to be when I meet LL Cool J. I was working as a background actress when I first moved to LA. Lord it had to be the best moment of my life when he gave me a hug. And, for a moment I felt so so loved by him. Lol… And the fact that he would take a photo with me was insane to me at that time. All I thought about was his song “I Need Love.” What you working on? I’m also a public speaker who encourages people to live life unlimited. I was recently on the Steve Harvey show to discuss my weight loss transformation using the full body cleanses from Dherbs. I lost over 50lb using the 20-day full body cleanses. Through that experience I want to also promote the importance of women’s health. I’m currently in a movie called “In The Company Of Assassins.” I’m in the 6th season of my talk show “The Melody Trice Show.” Lastly, In the process of writing my own book called “Unlimited Life with Melody Trice.”

the road. In high school, I had an incredible theatre arts teacher, Mark Swinton. He was teaching us college material and provided all the classic books to study and gave me a core breakdown of this idea called acting. These same core methods are still being used today. Later, Mark’s assistant but director in his own right, Byron Nora, helped me to connect to the dialogue emotionally. These two provided me with a solid launch pad to grow from, as I am still learning much to this very day.

Have you ever dated someone you work with on set? I have not dated someone I’ve worked with on set. Not my style. I don’t want anything to compromise the work. If you wasn’t in the entertainment industry what would you be doing? I would probably be a sphychologist. I’ve always been interested in why people do what they do. Unbeknownst, I’m always doing research on the subject. Do you see you and Denzel Washington working together in the near future? I do see us working together on a project. When ever the timing is right. Craziest fan moment you experienced? I had a woman fly out the country to meet me. The problem was we never discussed it. Never made arrangements whatsoever. All in an attempt to sleep with me. Nothing happened of course. I went back

to my hotel room, slept with a night light on, pepper spray, and 911 on speed dial (as he laughs). Talk about how you landed yourself a role on HBO Ballers? At the time, I was working as a choreographer on a project. I got a call from a writer/ producer but also a friend of mine, Mr. Spencer. He asked if I had auditioned for Ballers. I told him no. He told me they were looking for me and I told him he could pass my info along. I went in to the audition in Hollywood. Casting liked my initial audition and had me return for 7 or so callbacks. After two months, they told me they were changing the role of Fat Reggie from reoccurring to a lead and offered me the role. The show was set in Miami. I relocated to Miami the first 2 seasons and the rest unfolded. Explain one of the most challenging moments that occurred in your life that brought you to where you are today? One morning I woke

up to several missed calls. These missed calls were to inform me that my younger brother had been murdered during his visit to LA. That rocked me to the soul. It was a wrap. I had the blues. I hope no one close to me has to feel the anguish that comes from this kind of death. We think we miss someone because we haven’t seen or spoken with them in a while. But the revelation that a while means the geneses of never again can destroy an individual that isn’t grounded to something spiritually solid. You can feel the emotional effects physically in your heart. Tears are no longer the same. A bellow from hurt that the deaf can hear. There’s a void in my life larger than America’s debt to other countries, that won’t ever be

filled. To live with this, causes you to make a decision about how you are now going to live life, if you plan to at all. Some stop living. Others quit life. And the strong live life for both, you and the taken. I’ve chosen to live for my brother and I. What is the difference between promoting and spamming? The difference with any idea is the condition of the heart when doing it. Not the titles. If this is too deep of a concept, we can use “mind”. Where are your thoughts when carrying out an activity? Is it for selfish reasons or not. Simple.

Founders Note

First and foremost I would like to take this moment to say thank you Jesus. I didn’t think I would drop another issue after I was involved in a car accident September 28th, 2018 that nearly took my life away. The fact that God speared my life showed me I was here for a reason. Working on this issue was probably the hardest and most difficult one for me among every issue. It was such a pleasure working with each and every one who was featured in this issue. I would like to give a special shout out to our front cover artist Kat Tat for blessing the cover. Also congratulations on reaching one million followers on instagram. It’s such a blessing that Untouchable Magazine is four years in the game. It seems like just yesterday we just did our first issue. We have come so far from our first issue to now. I remember having absolutely no content to publish whatsoever to now having twice as much the content. Untouchable Magazine became reborn again after the release of our third issue. After we lost our original graphic designer who designed our first two issues we hit rock bottom for a year. I honestly could have just said “Fuck it” and let the magazine fold but I didn’t accomplish what I wanted with the magazine. I later found a graphic designer on Fiverr that got us back in business and releasing issues again. I’m going through a situation right now where I paid someone to build my company website and they did not deliver properly.

They attempted to try to run off with the money without doing the work. Going through this situation reminded me why I started Untouchable Magazine. Untouchable Magazine birthed because I got scammed and I decided to start my own business where people could not get scammed. I take these situations very serious because at the end of the day it reflects my company. As everyone reads this issue I want all readers to understand the difference between actually promotion and spamming your product. There are tons of ways to promote something. The most basic way is to pay for advertising. You can advertise on social media by sponsoring your post so it can reach the target audience your aiming for. Billboards weather it’s a regular one, digital, one on the bus or bus stop. It is still great promotion. A press release is another great way to promote your-self. Commercials on both radio stations and television is a great way to gain exposure. A street team is another great way to promote. Spamming is when you tag one hundred people in a timeline post about your music. Spamming is when you send everyone in your inbox your music link. Spamming is when you create group messages and flood them with your product in efforts to try to save money on advertising. People spam every single day and don’t even know it. In this issue you will read different perspective what everyone had to say about spamming and promoting. David Solis Founder/Editor in Chief untouchablemagazine@gmail.com

Marianna Trofimova

Fitness Trainer / Model

What got you started? I can’t say in two words. I had some motivation. I had certain people in my life that brought me to that point. I have to say thank you to my father. I been trained since I was little to get up and do my workout; now I’m in love with that. I just love what I do. I love to be in shape, I love to

share my knowledge, I love to train people, I love to watch my diet, I love to look great, and just be in a great mood all together. So it’s my passion. Role Models? I have one friend his name is Larry Willis. They call him the drill Sargent. I read a

article about him that explains a lot. He is an unstoppable machine that is going to motivate you a lot even when I did not plan to compete at a certain point in my life. I was really interested in dancing but when I met this guy he really motivated me to continue my career and compete because he basically trained me and that’s how I won my competitions and diet. The diet was very important he shared his diet with me and I got the diet on my own. The training was the hardest part its something very unique because I got professional trainer from a professional football player. So I was exposure to different routines something totally different. I saw some people throw up from these workouts.

How often should somebody stretch? I think everyone should stretch every day no matter what you do because when you sleep you do nothing. Your body is also sleep so you should wake up and stretch. Look even at nature like cats and dogs. What do they do? My dog wouldn’t get up from bed until he stretch. I mean if you want to see how its beneficially just lay down and experience the stretch and see how your body reacts to it because you bring the blood flow. Once you bring the blood flow it kind of relief any pain and inflammation slowly moving in your body. So that is important today with stretching. Who trained you and taught you everything you know? My ex husband and I came here together and he was a body builder. I started my own I had to become a certified fitness trainer. He basically brought me into this industry. With him we opened our fitness club Studio City fitness gym. We came together from Moscow but we had a fitness club already in Moscow. I started my fitness career in Moscow competing in fitness shows.

La’Keta Awls

What inspired you to start Hollywood Honeys? What inspired me to start The Hollywood Honeys was the fact that I saw a lack of support and encouragement when it came to businesswomen in Hollywood. Some women have moved far from families and friends to pursue a dream and have no one here to hang with or confide in for advice as well as simple support! Explain your most exhilarating moment on TruTV. My most exhilarating moment on TruTV is just being apart of the Laff Mobb Laff Tracks cast in

yourself every now and then! What the difference between promoting and spamming? I believe the difference between promoting and spamming is one is being assertive about your brand and making yourself known the other one is considered a virus and you don’t want to make people sick by spamming them with your content; but then again maybe you do lol

Is 2pac your favorite rapper? Pac is one of my favorite rappers but I would have to go with Biggie first. Then, I would probably go with ODB because I’m a little older. Then I would probably go with 2pac. Then I would mix it into the new area and I think I would go with Lil Wayne. One of the goats and I like Drake man I know I’m one of the dark skin dude but I like Drake man. I don’t sing all the singing parts but I rap all the rap parts. How did you make a name for yourself? I got off my ass. I was in Detroit I had did every big venue in Detroit. Shout out Detroit that was 1996. I just said “Man I can’t get no bigger here” so I just got on the greyhound three days from Detroit to LA. With no money in my pocket when I got here and here we go. Most memorable moment you ever had on set? Probably would be when I throw up all over the place. Right before we shot. We went to all the rehearsals and I was cool

with that but once I figured all the audience was coming, and cameras, I just throw up all over the place because I was nervous as a motherfucker. Its good to be nervous that means you care. What happened with the deal with Yo Gotti? Why didn’t you sign? I had a deal with a few rap guys. E-40; shout out to E-40. I had a deal with him for a record deal but they didn’t like the 2pac records I was putting out because I was dissing all the comedians. They never heard anybody on records dissing Mike Epps, Kevin, and other comedians. So that’s what I was doing I don’t like no comedians if that’s your next question. Fuck all them comedians. Fuck you. Fuck y’all. Y’all won’t let me in. I’m in now bitch watch this. I’m sorry that was personal. Best threesome you had? I had plenty of threesomes unfortunately nobody famous. So I can’t like say a name but yeah my first threesome was in Virginia. I love you Virginia. You’re awesome.

What’s the most money you ever spend? I spent eighty thousand dollars on a Ferrari. I didn’t want to pay no notes on it. It was a 2016 and I had to have it. That ain’t even the stupid part. The stupid part is I was in Florida so I had to get it shipped back. Damn. So that was another whatever thousand. I ain’t made to many dumb decisions but I had to have that Ferrari Nick Cannon got so many dope ass cars I had to get a car that I never seen him with so I spent it on a Ferrari. I brought a couple of bitches from time to time too. These instagram bitches y’all be liking and sweating over. Just buy the pussy. You could fuck em. You could fuck all of them just buy them. Don’t try to like them and get to know them. Just say, “Look, how much you want for the pussy Instagram bitch”. The bitch probably don’t go a mattress. The bitch sleeps on an air mattress all day. But she got a big booty so she got a million followers. Just buy the pussy don’t talk to bitches no more.

It’s a city full of love. Its real black genuine people it’s hard its not LA at all. No palm trees if you find a palm tree in Detroit they will give you a million dollars for that motherfucker. It’s a hard town man. Myself, Eminem, John Witherspoon, Byron Allen, Tim Allen, Big Sean, Sada Baby, and Tee Grizzley. Shout out to all my Detroit players, my Detroit comedians Mike Bonner, Co-Co, Martini, Rest in peace Kool-Aid,

CP, Bill Hill, BoBo Lamb, Thomas Ward, Joe Blunt, Simply Chanel, Dorian Black, Jay Will, if I forgot your name you know I love you. Detroit shit. I love where I’m from but I rather be in LA. When you not working what are you doing? I’m selling weed. I like to sale cocaine but you know people don’t trust me with the bag because I’m a comedian you know what I’m saying. Weed is always something I can get. So you know I am a grower and I sell weed. I wanted to say that twice. I pretty much just do weed stuff. When I’m not in Hollywood I’m in weed wood. How bout that. What’s next? What’s next is I wake up tomorrow and I figure it out. I don’t like to put no type of goals on myself to me that’s like punishing yourself like you know man let shit go. As long as you work towards what you’re trying to do. Eight hours a day. You got to treat everything like a job. If you don’t have a real job If your trying to be a photographer you got to practice taking pictures and seeing the angels for eight

hours a day. That’s how you pay yourself by learning. I got movies coming out. I’m directing movies now. I just take it a day by day because this Hollywood shit is some other shit. And once it gets to weird I just got back to weed world. So as long as they don’t get weird I’m right here. Last words? All directors and producers I’m not sucking no man dick, do not touch me, I’m not doing not of that Hollywood suck dick, sacrifice blood, kids, I love all my kids I’m not sacrificing none of them motherfuckers to be in no fucking movie.
