His name is Shiggy and he has invented his own dance after his name titled “DoTheShiggy”. The dance became popular online right after Drake released his new album titled “Scorpion”. Celebrities like Brittney Taylor, DJ Camilo, Mechie So Crazy, Ciara & Russell Wilson, Angela Simmons, Reggie Couz, RJ Barrett, Desi Banks, and much more are doing the Shiggy. It has went viral online overnight. The dance is actually easy to do. It’s you being yourself with 5 simple steps. Just add you in those 5 simple steps and you got it. Step one is “The Jerk”, Step two is “The Heart”, Step three is “We Driving”, and Step four is “Finger Wave”, and finally, Step five is “The Side Wave”. Follow @theshiggyshow on Instagram for more. Drake has done it again. He is now the first artist to reach one billion plus streams in one week on his new album Scorpion. Fans say the whole beef between him and Pusha T was all a marketing scheme because Drake reveals his unknown son on the album. Seems like Drake doesn’t care what anyone thinks and is continuing to do him. What do you think did Drake drop his album to push the Beef under the rug? Did Drake and Pusha T team up for a marketing scheme? Did Drake already have the album done before the diss track? Written by David Solis

André Hammonds 1. How did you make a name for yourself in the industry? I got my start in the industry working with reality stars. My first client Gocha Hawkins was a celebrity hairstylist and cast member on WEtv’s LA Hair. From there I connected with musician and reality star Diamond who was filming her 2nd season of Sisterhood of Hip Hop for Oxygen Network. Through Diamond I was eventually able to film scenes for season 3 of her show. I used every opportunity to promote my clients and myself until people started to pay attention. When I think about the industry I never think, “I’ve made it” because truthfully I’m still working to “make it” but I do have a sense of pride in the work that I’ve done and things that I have accomplished. I’m very thankful now to have people like my publicist Sabrina Jones who helps streamline me as Stylist and a brand. 2. What is fashion in your on words? Fashion in my own words is more like an outward expression of life influences. Our style is defined by the things that speak
to us the most. Personally, I love a touch of luxury! Not necessarily in brands or designers but more so in textures, colors, and even fit. I think of my own style as being “guy glam”. 3. Who is one person you can’t wait to style? I’m a total men’s fashion enthusiast! I can’t wait to style someone like Idris Elba or Michael B. Jordan. My career has had a strong base with reality stars and some musicians. I’m hoping to balance it out with some notable actors and more red carpet styling. 4. What’s Next? I’m all about growing my brand organically. My event series the “CelebriTEA Sip & Shop” just had it’s second installment this June during BET awards weekend. Aside from photo shoots and styling with my regular clients I’m hoping to expand my roster and keep my portfolio fresh. Fashion will always be a huge part of my career but I’m really looking to expand myself as more of an entrepreneur.

1. What was the motivation behind the “Real rap is back snippet”? Since I was born. I was raised around music. My first instrument was the drums. So beats, I can hear the percussions (kicks, snares, hi hats). But my motivation is my son. He passed in 2013 in a fatal house fire that killed him, his mom, and cousin. He was 4, but he loved real music; Drake, Isley Bothers, and a lot of 90’s R&B. The music nowadays don’t have that feel no more. I can’t relate. So real rap is back is just a message to let mumble rappers and auto-tune users know that real music is still alive.

2. How did Green Light Distrik Entertainment We On Go Muzik come about? I was up early in the morning playing beats on repeat in my own world smoking a cigarette and I’m like “I need a brand.” People been telling me, “Mook create a brand and stick to it.” My name is Mook Dollahz - Mook meaning big man eating at the table, and Dollahz of course self-explanatory. Green Light Distrik, is where I come from (Newark, NJ), it’s a lot of struggle, pain and misery. It’s only a selective few that barely makes it out so we on the move for them (We On Go). Just so they can see all the stuff we go through and know there is still light at the end of the tunnel.
3. In Pound Cake freestyle you mention, “I got a lot of power in my music” what do you mean by that? I have a lot to talk about, but the difference is its meaning behind my bars. I know it’s a lot of people out there that been through the same if not worst. I’ve been raised to be a king, a leader not a follower, build the foundations don’t destroy. Music speaks volumes, and mine is turned up to the max. It’s just the beginning. I’m getting better and wiser. If you like hip-hop with bars about real life situations, you’ll say the same. 4. What can we expect while listening to Ventilation vol. 1? A sequel to something greater. This Ventilation Vol.1 album is my laughs and pains, ups and downs. But still through all that, I’m still pushing forward for that green light at the end of the tunnel. We On Go!

1. Explain what it was like growing up in the spotlight? It was different. I grew up in a non-social media/blog era. We weren’t under a microscope. You could still kind of live your life and not be judged on daily by people who feel entitled. 2. What was your favorite character you played throughout your career? And what drew you to that particular character? Mandy from Mandy & Randy. We were able to make a huge mess and eat a bunch of chocolate without getting in trouble by our parents. It took awhile before I started liking chocolate again though. 3. Between music and acting which one is your first passion? Acting will always be my first

love. Even though I have been told I’ve touched peoples lives with my music and they want to hear more. 4. What is your favorite “All That” episode? I don’t really remember the episodes but I remember musical artists. So I would say the one with Da Brat. They brought her on as a birthday surprise. I was asked what I wanted for my birthday and she was one of the requests. 5. Was it a hard decision to leave “All That” after 2 seasons? Leaving wasn’t my decision. 6. Tell us about your new single your pushing? How did it come about? Where can we find it and what’s the message behind it?
Complicated was part of a duo mixtape and a completely different style from what I’m used to. I decided to scratch the idea of the duo mixtape and just release the two songs done for it. Complicated can be found on SoundCloud and the 2nd single will drop this month and be available on SoundCloud as well. I have a completely different project I’m working on now. 7. What would your dreamacting role be? I’ve always wanted to play a superhero, someone with super powers, and a villain. 8. Describe the perfect man for you. My perfect man is someone that when I look at them I can see God in them.

We had one of the first opportunities to taste My Beverage’s My Water line before the public. My Beverages @my_beverages has two new water products, My CBD Water and My Sports Water. Staff discovered this water at a private birthday bash with Dame Dash at his new Dame Dash Studios and DDS33 Gallery. It fit right into the line up next to Dusko wines & Whiskey. While the drinks were bringing people into a spirited place the My CBD Water was calming. The My Sports Water! hydrated us during the night of celebration as well. My Beverages sponsored our cover shoot we had with Love and Hip-hop Reality Star Althea Heart. The staff and Althea enjoyed the refreshing drinks as we created an amazing photoshoot filled with laughter and creativity.

Breaking into the Music Business Everybody’s number one question is how can I make it in the music business and be successful. The truth is success comes in so many forms of fashion. Success is measured by your efforts put towards a certain goal. It’s really not how you start. It’s about how you finish.
Steve Lobel started out carrying bags for Run DMC and is now a big time music executive and consultant. Zoe Young grew up in the studio because her god parents owned a studio in Miami called “Circle House” and her Dad was a road manager to Ziggy Marley so she knew music would always be apart of her. Today Zoe is VP of Epic Records. Joshua Heart started out working regular 9-5 jobs than found a passion in music and today is the casting director for the new show The Four: Battle for Stardom.
can meet somebody and they can teach you really amazing things and you finally get to the point where your like you know what I think I’m ready for somebody else”. VP of Epic Records Zoe Young says “She used to call her first mentor like crazy and always ask what should she do until one day he said stop calling me and asking me what to do, figure it out, and hit me back and let me know what you did”. Ladies takes notes Zoe says “That’s how you teach a lady how to really boss up”
Time waits on no-one period. There will be sessions going on, events going on, and a million other things going on. The goal is to get your work done and stay focus in the midst of everything. Through, all the distractions and all the bullshit. “Nobody is going to care about what you got to do more than you” say’s Zoe Young VP of Epic Records.
Steve Lobel says “in life you have to take L’s in order to get wins”. Part of breaking into the business is remaining humble because it ain’t hot all the time you get cold. What goes up must come down. “Your money can be gone than you can really see who your true friends are” said Steve Lobel. Steve L’s in life were time. For example “When his mom died, him missing out on family functions because he was chasing the dream”. Steve Lobel says at the Industry
Zoe mentioned a really great point at the music conference. Outgrowing your mentor. Zoe Young says “you
connect 101 “Breaking into the music business” conference. Steve learned from his L and now spends time with his father because life is too short. Furthermore, the hardest thing is having balance in the music business and not the music industry to Steve Lobel. “Some times you may feel left out from a studio session, a show, some event”. But at the end of the day what’s really important. Sometime you learn the hard way like Steve did. In a nutshell, his biggest L was not spending time with his family who would be there through thick and thin. In conclusion, I would like to end by saying I believe breaking into the music business consist of having a great mentor like Steve, a dedicated A&R like Zoe Young, and someone consisting getting you endless opportunities such as Joshua Heart. For more info on breaking into the music business visit out Youtube channel to check out some footage from the conference.

1. What song do you have on repeat on your playlist? “Honestly, I don’t even have a playlist I just listen to Pandora,” said Althea Heart. “Probably when I am working out, I would listen to Shawty Lo or something like that” 2. Is there an appropriate age to be completely ready for industry gigs? “In this day and age, we got parents posting up their kids for a dollar so. Everybody is trying to make money so.” 3. Would that be considered being a sell out? “I mean people have to get it how they live I mean. . .so. . .”

4. I understand you just got your Instagram hacked and that could be frustrating for most, how has that affected your fan base? “Well, my page got hacked and honestly. . .maybe that was a sign because I feel like we can get real caught up in social media. Once it got hacked, I did appreciate it because I didn’t have it during that time. . .and I was kind of like if I was to lose my page, joking with my girlfriends, I was going to be out the game because it was a lot of hard work and energy into it,” said Heart. “I did not realize how important it was until I didn’t have it.”
“Before Instagram, I had MySpace and whatever else was a platform then, but honestly like I wasn’t involved with it because it wasn’t how I got my money or took care of myself.” It was someone over seas, it was really scary because I was actually looking at my page through my hair page. I was just like this person has all my followers. It was a wake up call. I told myself that when I got my page back that I was going to take it serious and use my page to promote my platform.” 5. How was life without social media? “It was up and down , I had mixed emotions. I would be upset that it was gone but then maybe I was like I should get back to reality. So I wasn’t trippin’ I was kind of like ‘ok this is a reality check with my life’. Even now I feel like I hit a point in my life where I am finally going to put my single out and progress. Or something like it’s no fun working, working, and working, and you feel like you’re not getting anywhere. Not that you feel like your not getting anywhere, but when you feel like you need to reevaluate and make changes. 6. What type of reputation do you think Love and Hip-Hop gave you? “It’s weird about the reputation that Love and Hip Hop gave me because. . .when I meet people, people only have nothing but like good things to say to me even though my story line was like crazy.” “I feel like Love and Hip Hop has a history of repeating its storyline as far as it’s always the guy cheating on the girl and the girl has to act like she is all messed up over this guy and all of that,” said Althea Heart. “I think I was the only girl that was like ‘you gonna cheat on me? Alright I’m moving on to the next best thing and I’m not about to sit here and stress over you and all of that.’ I feel like that is how I am in real life. I feel like I speak

from a woman who is living her life based on living her life for herself and I feel like I give women the strength to be independent, and have a mind, and not be played by no man.” 7. Did you think your first child would be by Benzino? The wonderful thing that came out of everything was my son and I feel like in the midst of all the drama, something real came out of it, which was my son. I feel like I became a mother at a time where I was ready to be a mom and the person I happened to have it with was Benzino. So it is kind of like my motherhood comes first before anything. I got blessed to be my son’s mother, I got the blessing, because he already has children.” 8. Has everyone remembered you from Benzino? “Yeah, I would be lying if I said people did not know me from him but I feel like I have a face that was known before Benzino. It’s just that from being on Love and Hip Hop with Benzino the face went with the name. People actually know me from being baby Zino’s mom when I am out. Because when I’m out I am not dressed up I am dressed down so people would see my son and look and me second and that’s how they know it’s me through him. 9. Why are you dressing down? “Honestly I always have work out clothes

my phone that day on the way to the event and did not want to cancel the event so I came anyway. His sitter number was in my phone and so I was like ‘okay you’re going to come with me’. That’s why he was with me because me losing my phone. It ended up being okay that he was with me because he is a real chill kid I like having him with me, he is not a burden or nothing like that. It’s weird because when a camera gets in his face he knows how to act toward the camera. I do have him with me a lot. It is hard because not only am I in the business but his father is in the business.” 12. Do you have a set time schedule when parenting? Well he goes to school during the day so when he is at school, I try to
on, I’m probably coming from yoga or something. Living in LA, I am only getting dressed when I have to, most of the time I am on chill mode. That’s why I like living in LA, I felt like LA is nice weather, you know, you got pools and beaches so there’s no real reason to get dressed up all the time unless you are like going to dinner at night.” 10. What are some of your workout routines to keep your body in shape? I eat so much I have to workout. My routine is yoga, cycling, I sit in the sona a lot, I drink water, and try to do at least 45 minutes everyday on the treadmill, Zumba classes. I am learning after my son. He is very demanding so he is always telling me what to do and sit down and just be his puppet.” 11. What is it like doing red carpet interviews with Baby Zino right by your side at times? At the day of Celebrity Tea, I lost
14. What was it like working with P Diddy and how did you get that opportunity? “I was in the studio in Manhattan and I was in a Eve session and Director X was there and was like ‘you’re pretty you need to be in this video’. At the time, back in the day, women got labeled for being in videos as a video whore, you never really heard good things about them. I didn’t really take it seriously. Director X is a big time director he did a lot of videos and he was telling me that he was shooting the video the next day. I didn’t take it seriously but he had the production call me the next day and that’s how I started doing videos. 15. Did people start seeing you as a video vixen?
My routine is yoga, cycling, I sit in the sona a lot, I drink water, and try to do at least 45 minutes everyday on the treadmill, Zumba classes. get everything done at those times during the day so when he gets home from school at 6 I just try to manage my time during the day time which is workout and do house chores. When I get him from school it’s basically his time until the next day.” 13. Who is your biggest role model/ motivation in the music industry? I would be lying if I would not say Beyonce. She sets the bar. I feel like people like Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan. I used to always look at my mom as a singer. I actually watched my mom get ready for her gigs every night. My father owned a jazz club and I lived on top of the club so sometimes I would go down stairs and experience the nightlife. So I grew up around it, my mom is now a gospel singer. I would say my mom would be my biggest role model.
“I think I had the label that I was a video vixen. My videos still play today like they come on like BET night and stuff like that like the classics. I was also in Ja Rule ‘I Cry’ and R Kelly ‘Fiesta’ and Jamie Foxx ‘Unpredictable’. They were all leading roles that I had gotten. They kind of just all fell back to back. I guess I would be considered a video vixen, yeah I guess. Than got signed to Def Jam to Foxy Brown in 2003 for a eighty thousand dollar contract.” 16. What is your back up? The videos and getting signed and everything was like a hobby for me. I was trying to get into college, I got into real estate and I do property management. It’s like I always wanted to be in the industry but the industry, you have to go through so many hoops and you have to deal with

people that want to tell you ‘you are not good enough’. I feel like because I am pretty it was harder for me to get respect in the industry. I feel like because I am pretty people just assume ‘oh, she’s pretty so that’s all that she’s about’ but in all honesty it has been a hobby for me. It hasn’t been easy and you just don’t know if it’s promised to you or not. That’s where I’m at now where I have to put a strong team together because it’s just hard to move forward. Now a days, with social media, everything is in your hands to put that team together and make it happen for yourself.” 17. How was your first experience making a hit single? “Well from doing videos, I had did a song called ‘I Got You Ma’ with Cadillac Ty From Murda Inc. Even though, me getting signed to Foxy didn’t really blow up, I can still say I was signed to Foxy Brown. To get acknowledged from a legend, because I was dope, you get around people in the industry and they look at you because of your swag and the people you are around. She basically believed in me and that right there is when I transitioned from a video vixen to a singer. Even though it didn’t work out, it doesn’t matter like I’m now a television star which is everything all combined together. Sometimes I might forget because it’s all about what you make and take from your situation. So that all goes back to when my page got hacked and lost all my followers and than going on other people pages and they didn’t reach a least a million. In this age it’s not hard to get to a million, it’s people that aren’t on television and they have a million. It’s still something when you put the work in and people know you for being you. This is not me selling ass or I may post a bikini pic every now and than but I do know that when women meet me, I get ‘oh your an inspiration, your bossed up, your this your that’, and that alone makes me feel happy for all of that and I’m not done yet.”

“I was on DMX soundtrack ‘Cradle 2 the Grave’ and I have a song with her (Foxy Brown) called Cradle to the Grave, where I’m singing the hook on that. I didn’t get paid or anything but she just put me on the track so that was a blessing and something no one can take away from me. Before I was on Love and Hip Hop I was on a album like on a soundtrack.” 18. When is the right time to get paid and charge someone? “Money has no value. The only thing you can’t get back is time. So I feel like...
I still got paid because I’m still here talking about what I did with Foxy all of these years later and if you Google up the album, I’m on there. My credits are on there. So I feel like you get paid in different ways. She solidified me.” 19. What can we expect next from you? “I can’t say what show but I am supposed to be getting back on a TV show. So you will see me on television.” 20. What is next for Althea Heart? “Living, that’s what the fuck she is going to be doing.”

Behind The Scenes Cover Shoot
May 29th, 2018 was a day to remember for everyone who was invited out to Untouchable Magazine exclusive cover shoot featuring Love & Hip-Hop ATL Reality star, actress, singer, and songwriter Althea Heart. The shoot took place downtown Los Angeles, California at FD Photo Studio. The studio was absolutely everything you could ask for and more. The backdrop was made of fresh roses, the luxury bathtub, and the million-dollar view of downtown Los Angeles. The moment Althea walked in the building it was lights, camera, action. She jumped in make up seat at the same time baby Zino was getting corn rolls for the very first time. She managed to get about 4 looks in for the shoot. Here are some of the behind the scenes photos from our front cover shoot from issue 9.

much more. He is also known for performing at Low-rider car shows. We had the honor of meeting Multi Plier Sync summer 2017 in Los Angles during a very busy time in his life. It was incredible watching Multi Plier Sync work. Every single day he was in the U.S he was working. I would hit him up and he would be in Mexico the next day doing a show than in Las Vegas the day after and who knows where else. He is always on the move. I have always admired his work ethic from the day I met him. This is the type of work ethic I like to see musicians put towards their craft. Just because Multi Plier Sync can’t speak English doesn’t mean Americans don’t rock with his music. The amount of love the U.S showed him was unbelievable. I guess it’s true when they say they don’t love you until you leave your city. After being around him for so long you will forget he doesn’t even know English because he is so laid back and humble.
Multi Plier Sync is a Japanese Hip-Hop MC. But please don’t be fooled by his accent he can delivery when it comes to bars. He has worked with Crooked-I, MC EIHT, Spanky Loco, Sad Boy Loko, Jasper Loko, Lil Blacky, Sleepy Malo & MOBG Ent just to name a few heavy hitters. Multi Plier Sync is a Chicano rapper known for his body full of tattoos, long hair, and a bandanna over his face to cover his mouth. This is an exclusive write up written by David Solis CEO of Untouchable Magazine
He has been on the music scene for quite some time now. Japan is not the only place he is known for his music. He is very well known for his music in the USA as he tours every year in the U.S to promote himself and his music. He has toured in Brazil, Las Vegas, California, and
Untouchable Magazine recently did a sit down on camera interview with Multi Plier Sync in which is available on our Youtube Channel when he came back to Los Angeles for summer 2018. He is currently promoting his singles “Ruido Malandro” featuring Mr. Yosie Lokote, “Forever Like Tattoo” featuring Solo Sinatra, and last but not least “Caramel Candy”. He also has videos to check out on his Youtube channel to get a feel on what you been missing. Multi Plier Sync has made it in so many levels from collaborations with legends, to tours, magazine features, radio interviews, and just about anything you can think of. He is out here living the life of a young rap star. Step outside of your comfort zone and head over to www.multipliersync.com to get a doze of Multi Plier Sync.

1. What’s been up with you? Taking it easy doing my thing. I can’t complain, I’m Gucci. 2. At what level in your career did you feel like you actually “Made it?” I felt like I made it when I signed that contract to Sony and Razor Sharp records and I got that first check and they put me in the studio. “The Pillage” was the first gold album. It went gold in two weeks, solo exit freshmen number one. 3. How did you get the name CappaDonna? I got that from my brother Lounge Mode from the projects, Park Hill. 4. And what does it stand for? Consider all poor people acceptable, don’t oppress nor neglect anyone. 5. What do you do outside of music? I study culture sociology, religion and I teach that to everyone. 6. What is the hardest challenge you had to overcome as an artist? The hardest challenges as an artist are overcoming nervousness, stage fright, and learning the business of the music. Those were the hardest challenges and just being able to perform and entertain on stage successfully. 7. The industry has changed since 95, how do you feel about today’s hip-hop? I feel today’s hip-hop is a new generation thing and it has evolved into their problems, pains of the new genera-

tions, where life which is the culture and on a broader scale it is being controlled still by the industry standards and customs. Like you can do all the independent work you want but they still enslave you into the industry or keep you out of it. 8. What was it like working with Ghostface Killah in the studio? How is he as a person and how is he as a musician? [He] takes time and a lot of concentration because he is strong minded and a very focused musician. 9. After so many years in the industry and albums recorded what keeps you motivated? What keeps me motivated the most is God, love, and family. After all these years that is still the foundation of what keeps me motivated and it keeps me wanting to entertain. I do it mostly for my family; ‘God Loves Family’, is the name of my company so it all coincide. 10. What type of support did you receive towards your music in prison? I got the most support from friends, close people and family, them just cheering me on and keeping me insured that my craft is worth something and I have something to give back to the people. That’s all I needed to know to keep me going. 11. Best memory you’ve experienced with Wu-Tang Clan? The best experience memory is our
livelihood. We grew up together before we were the clan. I got a chance to experience everything that lead up to us being the Clan. From the hood we lived in, all the way to the very mindset to our own going legacy. From the projects, the great necks, the legacy it’s even embedded its like living in a dream. Our own life lead up to rap and we are still them same dudes in the rap. Even though we got our individual deals and stray so far away from each other, we still come together man and we still in that same childhood. “That is wonderful”! 12. How did you get to the point to even get a chance to join the Legendary Wu-Tang Clan group? We grew up together. The clan felt like I was nice on the mic and put me in that position. I came in on the Cuben link Album; it was the freshmen album debut album. 13. What advice can you give artist trying to make it in the music business? Artists need to know all they need to know about the business music and entertainment. 14. Tell everyone what you’re currently working on? Hip-hop mixtape ghetto super star bars that heal scars. 15. Any shout outs? Shout out to momma love and the family for holding me down when nobody else had my back they turned thank you.
A Note from the
I know I keep saying every issue I drop is my best one yet but man I truly think this one came out a masterpiece. I would like to first give an honor to God who is truly ahead of life and thank him for this opportunity of giving me the capabilities and resources to publish this issue. God has put me on this earth to make a difference in people lives and that is exactly what I am doing with the magazine. With all the places I go and all the people I meet it was only right that I came correct this issue. Big shout out to my front cover artist Althea Heart. Thank you so much for blessing the cover and giving all the readers something new. Althea Heart is the first female celebrity to bless the cover of Untouchable Magazine. The first time I ran into Althea Heart was at Ronnie Devoe 50th birthday bash in November 2017. I later ran into Althea in February 2018 at Celebritea where we connected about the cover and made it happen. In Summer 2017 I had received an email from a company who had a female celebrity client and was interested in featuring her on the
front cover. Going through that experience last summer gave me an idea of what to expect when working with female celebrity and how to accommodate them. So when we approached Althea Heart we were ready. I was already in the works of upgrading everything for 2018 anyways but Althea just put the nail on the coffin. Working with her boss me up. At this level is where I have always seen myself. From Untouchable’s last cover shoot with Yukmouth to this one there was no comparing it. I had literally bossed up on everything. I had three times the budget and three times the team. It took me a while to find my team though. It was not easy. I had to network my ass off to get what I wanted. I begin expanding
my team January 2018 to start the year off right. New me, new Untouchable, new team, new feel, new everything. You get the point. I started off by bringing on a creative director for celebrity cover shoots, photographers, copy editors, assistants, and much more. I continued to add people to my team in which I met in person, interviewed, and felt that would be a good asset to my magazine. Through that process I lost some people and gained some people. I would like to thank each and everyone who participated in the front cover shoot. Ksenia, Nitro Geez, Cara, Andre, Hannye, Jason, Jackey, Tia, K.C, and Jayden. Without you all I would not have been able to have a successful cover shoot. You all make my dreams come true.

Murphy 1. What is Murphy Lee listening to today? I listen to 90’s R&B. I also listen to every new hip hop/r&b album or song that drops. Everything. Even if I don’t remember your name or song. If you dropped via Tidal, I heard it. “Ya heard.” 2. Best St. Lunatics moment? Recording Country Gramma, the beginning of a new lifestyle. You could see this album being successful from the gate. 3. Did U C Me Entertainment birth because of what happened with Universal records and everything getting lost in the sauce? Yes, it was the beginning of my independent career. End of the major label goods and bad, it was.

4. What are you doing outside of the industry? I dibble and dabble in a few things. I have my own vape juice: vapyatailfeather.com I’m also working on getting my own wine up and running. 5. What are you currently working on? I am currently working on new music, films, new wine. But music first and foremost, expect a few projects and plenty of singles in 2018.
6. Do you feel you gained more industry knowledge as an artist or a business owner? And why? I probably gained more knowledge as an artist. Being hands on going through the bull and good times, seeing it all first hand. Watching Nelly blow up helped a lot also. I also learned from being a business owner but [being an] artist even helped me with that – taught me structure.

ALEXA 1. What situation occurred in your life that birthed Third Wolf Designs and your vision behind it? When I was younger it was a difficult time growing up. There was a lot of tension and discomfort in myself and I used drugs, alcohol and food to get through a lot of things. I speak to that because I think as an artist a lot of artistic people go through the other side of the spectrum of like a real destructive side as well. So, when I was 21 years old I kind of changed my life around and went through a process of deep, deep healing and recovery from all that. In that process I started painting canvas, almost manically like I was painting all the time and it was healing. It came to getting a message out there with the art so the message in both the painting, and all of third wolf designs and all of the designs is kind of like opening the horizons to understanding the full spectrum line instead of just looking at things from one angle. It was a way to reach more people faster just by painting on clothes to get the message out there that wholeness and consciousness, and self-awareness. 2. What influenced you to do drugs? And how did you overcome it? I was trying to escape. I had a pretty intense family life growing up. Just a lot of drama and I was in a lot of pain and I was not okay
38 | Issue 09 - 2018
with myself so drugs - I would say it was more so alcohol - was just a way out to numb the pain and not feel anything. Alcohol particularly is like it does not enhance consciousness it does the opposite, it’s like an inhibitor so I think it’s just a way to check out and that was my goal. Coming out of it I’ve always had a part of me that just doesn’t quit. I’m a fighter at heart and there’s that part that just knew that there was something that was going to come from this and get that message out. When I was 21 I just hit a bottom. I was miserable. I had no more life force in me. I guess there was a little because it got me out but I was just done. I could not do it anymore. I couldn’t be that way anymore and I just turned it around. 3. Tell us your definition of fashion?’ I love the phrase “art is life”. You see it everywhere so I think fashion is such an individual thing for people and it’s a way they create their own image on a day-to-day life. So, fashion is fun because there are so many targets. There’s high fashion, and there like really anything you could think of but I think it’s a way of essentially painting yourself for the world like how you dress and how you carry yourself. 4. What do you do outside of being an artist? I play music as well. So, I’m definitely in the creative world but I love snowboarding, I love surfing, and skateboarding.
