Chester’s streets are lined with cuisines from around the globe, mixing well-known favourites in with independent eateries. There are hidden foodie gems down side streets and in the new Chester Market on Northgate Street (see Chester city map on page 8) - a street food heaven not to be missed!

Storyhouse

Next to Chester Market and the Cathedral is Storyhouse – a cultural centre containing two state-of-the-art theatres, a cinema, library, restaurant and two bars. It’s a great place to stop for a coffee and see where you could be hanging out with friends in a year or two from now.
