Welcome to Your Experience Day Thank you for joining us. Today’s programme has been specially designed to provide you with a unique insight into student life at the University of Chester. You will start your day with a departmental session at the Wheeler Building before heading over to Exton Park for further activities there. During the day you’ll delve deeper into your chosen course, meet our dedicated staff and students, view our fantastic range of on-campus facilities and find out more about your next steps. Experience Day Activities There are lots of activities taking place throughout the day, as detailed below:
Subject Session Start your day with a departmental subject session at Wheeler, where you will find out more about your course, speak to our expert team of lecturers and view our specialist facilities.
Campus Tours at Exton Park A shuttle bus will be available to take you from Wheeler to our Exton Park location, where the remainder of the day’s activities will take place. Take a student-led tour of Exton Park and view facilities such as the library, fitness facilities and the Students’ Union. Tours depart every 30 minutes at 15 and 45 minutes past the hour from 11:45am. This is your perfect opportunity to ask current students all about life at Chester.
View Accommodation Examples of accommodation are available to view on a drop-in basis throughout the day. The health and wellbeing of our students and visitors is our number one priority. Please be aware that due to the need for social distancing, we may on occasion be unable to show the interiors of some elements of our accommodation.
Lunch and Refreshments The café in Wheeler will be open for beverages from 9:00. Remember to grab your free pizza and drink from The Dining Hall, The Bar or Binks at Exton Park between 12:00-15:00.

Continue along Parkgate Road
From the main entrance of Wheeler (opposite the river), turn left onto Castle Drive From the University car park at Wheeler, start out on Grosvenor Road heading out of the city, then turn left onto Castle Drive Turn left onto Lower Bridge Street Take your second left onto Castle Street At the roundabout, take the third exit onto A5268/Nicholas Street Continue on A5268 through five sets of traffic lights At the roundabout, take the first exit onto A5116/ Upper Northgate Street Continue straight onto Parkgate Road/A540 Turn left into the main entrance (E) of Exton Park

A shuttle bus service is available throughout the day, departing from the front of Wheeler, and from the main exit of Exton Park
Exit out of the main entrance of Wheeler onto Castle Drive Turn left onto Castle Drive Turn left onto Lower Bridge Street At the crossroad, continue onto Bridge Street At The Cross, turn right onto Eastgate Street Turn left immediately onto Northgate Street Continue forward until the Fountains Roundabout Proceed through the subway; follow signs for Parkgate Road
