Open Day Subject Sessions

November 2024 Wheeler

Welcome to Wheeler

Overlooking the River Dee, Wheeler is located within Chester city centre and is just a 25-minute walk from Exton Park. Wheeler has its own café, an extensive library, computer suites, study areas and a student common room.

With outstanding subject-specific facilities, including clinical skills laboratories and simulated wards, you’ll find a diverse range of vocational courses being delivered by the following schools at Wheeler:

Chester Medical School

Chester Medical School is a medical school for the community, within the community. The focus is to learn, stay and contribute locally, developing a sense of place, sensitive to population healthcare needs.

School of Law and Social Justice

Sitting right next door to Chester Crown Court and close to Chester Magistrates’ Court, students studying our legal and policing courses are right at the heart of the action in Chester.

School of Nursing and Midwifery

The School of Nursing and Midwifery has the facilities, expertise and collaboration with external partners needed to give our students the opportunity to enter a dynamic and exciting professional world across all our subject areas.
