a great Province a great University a great Business School

Our stylized “A” was introduced in 2000 in conjunction with the School’s official name change from the University of Alberta Faculty of Business to the University of Alberta School of Business. The triangular “A” was meant to convey the strength of learning and faculty and to suggest a peak, a pinnacle, a striving to the top, a higher business education. The design also features an abstract “S” and “B” and depicts the Alberta landscape of mountains flowing down into rivers, streams of knowledge, fields of dreams.

In 2010, the vision remains and our name has been preserved. The Alberta School of Business at the University of Alberta. ALBERTA Always has been. Always will be.
