Our Philosophy Of Project Governance Our philosophy of project governance is grounded in the principle that delivery of project results depends upon the provision of effective guidance, leadership and decision making at an executive level. There are as many decisions to make in overseeing projects as there are in managing them. The right approach depends upon the culture and environment of the organization, the objectives and value they seek to realize from their projects, and the practices and approaches that will best realize these outcomes.
Alberta School of Business Executive Education Executive Education is one of the four pillars of the Alberta School of Business. As the School’s professional development provider, we serve clients across all industries and in the public sector. With over 40 programs offered and serving over 5,000 participants per year, we continue to work toward becoming Canada’s source for executive education. As Alberta’s premier broker of intellectual capital, we focus on providing education solutions that enable today’s business leaders in government, publicly traded companies, and privately held organizations to lead change and increase organizational performance.
This philosophy has fundamentally influenced the development of the Executive Project Leadership Program. The program has been developed from the outset to provide guidance to senior decision makers on their roles, responsibilities and the expectations that are placed on them. The curriculum is designed to expand the perspectives and capabilities of its participants, and provide a variety of perspectives and viewpoints from which to explore how strategic project decisions are made.
