avonne, ’90 MBA, jokes that she was too naive back then to grasp the potential time demands as she was pregnant with her first child and working part time for the provincial government while finishing her MBA, missing only two days of class to give birth before she was back to the books. The knowledge gained during those dedicated years served her well as she managed General Electric’s unique HR model, consulted for a number of corporations, and eventually moved into the non-profit world.
