Honours degree 3 years full-time (levels 4 – 6) The standard 3–year degree – after which you’ll be a Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (BSc), Bachelor of Law (LLB), Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) or Bachelor of Education (BEd).

Fast-track Honours degree 2 years full-time (levels 4 – 6) Some courses offer a fast-track option where you can graduate in 2 years.

Honours degree with placement 4 years full-time (levels 4 – 6) These degrees offer a 48–week work placement, usually in the third year.

Honours degree with foundation 4 years full-time (levels 3 – 6) Our integrated foundation degrees give you extra time to adjust to university-level study before you start your undergraduate degree.

Foundation degree 2 years full-time (levels 4 – 5) For students who aren’t sure whether they have the qualifications to study a full Honours degree.

Level 6 Honours degree 1 year full-time (level 6) For students who already have qualifications such as a Foundation degree or Higher National Diploma, which they want to top up to a full Honours degree.

Integrated level 7 (Master’s) degree 4 years full-time (5 years with placement) (levels 4 – 7) A standard Honours degree with built-in Master’s options, after which you’ll be a Master of Science (MSc) or Master of Engineering (MEng). Provides a direct route to a level 7 qualification – great for careers where a Master’s is required for professional registration.

Mature students We welcome applications from mature students (aged 21 and over) and we don’t necessarily require the same qualifications as school-leavers.

Part-time Most of our courses can be studied part-time. Contact us to see how we can support you at enquiries@glos.ac.uk or 03330 141414.

Typical modules With each course we’ve listed a selection of modules – see the course webpages for full details.

Subject to validation Some courses will say they are ‘subject to validation’ – this is where it’s a new course that we intend to run, but that still needs final approval at the time we first published this prospectus (February 2020).

Check the course pages on our website for the latest information or contact our admissions team at admissions@glos.ac.uk or 03330 141414.
