UOIT ROWING Rob MILLIKEN Head Coach • 4th Season

Coach Millikin has been with the UOIT rowing program since its inception in 2006. The Port Perry resident is a co-founder of the Durham Rowing Club in 1989 and has used his ties with the organization to assist in the training of UOIT Rowers. Millikin has been active in the Ontario rowing community for decades, including acting as a coach and official at various times in his career. He has been recognized for his dedication to the sport of rowing in Canada with the Row Ontario Official of the Year award in 2003 and the Row Canada Official of the Year award in 2004.

The UOIT rowing program is once again looking to thrive at both the varsity and novice levels. The calendar this season will see the Ridgebacks crew visit regattas across Ontraio. For a school as young as UOIT, the rowing program has done well competing against the other top programs in Ontario. Under the guidance of an experienced coaching staff, the program continues to grow year after year. Rowing is not just a sport, it is a way of life!!!
