Biosciences Fair It’s great to see you at this year’s Biosciences Fair. With a range of companies attending, you can find out just how far your degree can take you. Many of the employers visiting us today have graduate jobs and internship opportunities available in a number of business areas. You may be surprised by the range on offer. Here are some key points to make the most of the fair: • A number of employers will bring Nottingham graduates, who are currently working for them, to the fair. They will happily have a chat with you and give you an idea of what it’s like to work in the sector. • Employers love to know what else you’ve done while you’re studying. At the Fair there will be several opportunities that you can get involved in, from volunteering and part time work to sports and science outreach. • The biosciences placements team will be at the event offering information, advice and support to students considering taking a year-in-industry placement. Whether you’re in your first year and you’ve not considered this option yet, or in your second year looking for a placement for 2017, there’s advice and support available to you. • Be open-minded! Doing a biosciences degree will means you will develop sought-after skills. Speak to a range of employers to understand the scope of careers open to you.
