Welcome to our Careers in Energy Fair It is great to see you at this year’s Careers in Energy Fair. Did you know that 86,000 new recruits will be required in the gas and electricity industries by 2025 to replace those that leave the workforce? The energy sector in the UK, and internationally, is a diverse sector with a growing need for highly skilled and educated graduates. The Careers in Energy Fair offers you the opportunity to meet a variety of employers who work in diverse areas such as oil and gas exploration and extraction, electricity generation and the growing renewables sector. Employers attending the fair may have opportunities for final years interested in graduate positions as well as year-long and summer placements for first, second and penultimate year students, in a range of interesting roles across their businesses.
