Welcome to our Office Wear Fashion Show. Tonight, you’ll be shown a selection of outfits to help you find your style and get top tips from recruiters to help you perfect your interview technique.
6.15pm Drinks reception Take the opportunity to network with the panel of employers. Ask them what they look for in their interviewees and what opportunities they have coming up for students and graduates. 7pm Welcome and ‘what not to wear’ Our Associate Director will open the evening and introduce the panel members. Following this there will be some examples of clothing choices to avoid when planning your interview attire.
First impressions count: make yours a great one
7.15pm Interview fashion showcase A selection of interview outfits to help you give a great first impression to the selectors. 7.30pm ‘Ace the interview’ Watch three candidates being interviewed and see how they fare. The employer panel will judge how well they cope under pressure and offer you, the audience, valuable advice on perfecting your interview technique.
8pm Office fashion showcase A showcase of everyday office wear for men and women. The selection covers a range of styles and budgets. 8.15pm Q&A with the employer panel This is your chance to pose a question to the panel about first impressions, professionalism and interview tips.
