Welcome to the Nursing Careers Fair The University of Nottingham is a pioneer in nursing education. As one of the largest nursing schools in the UK, we offer innovative nursing courses informed by powerful research and delivered by highquality teachers in an inspiring environment. BMI Healthcare Specialisms: Adult and child BMI The Park Hospital is an acute independent hospital providing excellent clinical services. Opportunities for career development exist within the wards, critical care, oncology, theatres and outpatients, across a wide range of specialties.

Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Specialisms: Adult The Trust is a busy district general hospital with a wide variety of vacancies across all divisions, providing flexible working opportunities and job rotations. The Trust encourages professional staff development via a range of programmes, including induction, preceptorship, action learning sets, clinical skills and portfolio development.

Cygnet Healthcare Specialisms: Mental health and learning disabilities Cygnet employs permanent mental health nurses (from newly qualified to ward managers) and permanent support workers to work on our multidisciplinary teams. We also employ a bank of casual registered mental nurses and support workers to cover shifts as and when required. This is an ideal way to earn some extra money while gaining experience of working at Cygnet.

Derby Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust Specialisms: Adult and child The Royal Derby Hospital is one of the newest hospitals built in the East Midlands offering a modern hospital and facilities. We’re always looking for dedicated nursing staff, committed to providing patients with high quality healthcare, underpinned by the values of the 6Cs.

Lincolnshire Community Health Services Specialisms: Adult and child At Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) we provide community healthcare services for the population of Lincolnshire, one of the largest healthcare communities in the country. Our 2,800 staff care for thousands of patients every day in a variety of settings such as walk-in centres, sexual health centres, community hospitals and out-of-hours service.

Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) Specialisms: Adult MSF or Doctors Without Borders is the world’s leading emergency medical humanitarian aid organisation. We offer emergency assistance to populations in dire distress, for example displacement, areas of armed conflict, natural disasters, epidemics and malnutrition. We need registered nurses with varied experience and an ability to commit for a period of nine months for the first mission. A foreign language is useful, but not essential.

Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH) NHS Trust Specialisms: Adult, child and mental health As a large acute teaching hospital based over two sites, NUH has a wide range of fantastic opportunities for staff to start and develop their careers in healthcare and support services. We aim to improve health to support justice and have effective pathways that deliver treatment to those with identified needs, promoting a healthy lifestyle. We are committed to working in partnership to deliver pathways of care equivalent to community.

Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Specialisms: Adult Papworth is the largest specialist cardiothoracic hospital in the UK providing internationally recognised regional and national services. We actively develop nursing careers in all our departments by supporting academic and clinical education in a well-staffed and resourced environment. We provide preceptorship in all areas and a structured cardiothoracic rotation.

Specialisms: Adult and mental health

We are looking for people to join as nursing officers or naval nurses, qualifying with a degree in adult or mental health nursing. With opportunities also in the Royal Naval Reserves.

United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust Specialisms: Adult and child Opportunities across the Trust will be available in a variety of specialty settings including medicine, surgery, orthopaedics, A&E, theatres, elderly care, critical care, emergency admission units, general paediatric inpatient, assessment unit, day case and outpatients. Vacancies are available at our three main sites in Lincoln, Boston and Grantham.

University of Derby Specialisms: Child The University of Derby offers a breadth of study opportunities including; therapeutic arts, social work, radiography and psychotherapy.
