Welcome to our Science and Technology Fair It’s great to see you at our Science and Technology Fair. As scientists and technologists, your skills are in high demand and we are excited to announce that more than 50 employers will be making their way to University Park to meet you. Here are some key points to help you make the most of the fair: • Watch out for the blue mortar board symbol in this guide – on these stands you will be able to chat to Nottingham graduates who are happy to be back on campus and are keen to meet you, whatever subject you are studying.

Our team are here to help you understand and make the most of the graduate jobs market – not just today – but during your time at university and once you graduate. Creating a CV can often be the first step when it comes to applying for opportunities. This session will provide hints and tips to help you craft a successful CV and provide an opportunity to ask Rolls-Royce what helps make a stand-out candidate. 1.30pm

Covering letters with Impression Syndicate Room 2

This Nottingham-based digital agency will talk you through the dos and don’ts of covering letters; what to include and how to tailor content to the job you’re applying to. There will also be hints and tips on how Impression identify successful covering letters. 2pm

Application forms with PwC Syndicate Room 1

Application forms help shape an employer’s first impression of you, and determine whether you get through to the next round of selection. This session will help you adapt your answers to the role you are applying for, and provide techniques to help you stand out in PwC’s selection process.
