Employers tell us that they want to see more than academic achievement on your CV. Your second year is the ideal time to develop the skills that give you an edge when applying for jobs and internships. One way to do this could be signing up for our accredited award programme, the Nottingham Advantage Award. With 140 modules to choose from, incorporating work experience, volunteering, project management and mentoring, it’s a great way to set yourself apart. Whether you fancy helping out in a local school, curating a student-led exhibition, or getting a part-time job, now’s the time to get involved.
