How did you become a single parent

I have one child and yes I'm a single mother, before we have a child things were going well. Things started to change the moment reality strike that we are young parents. We could not go out like we used to. The pressure started to be too much and he started to be violent, emotional, physical and more. He will go out drink(alcohol) come back home he will be angry over anything. I tried to find excuses for him but eventually I had to walk away for myself and my son. Being a single mother is not easy especially because I was raised by both parents. Jah lady.
