1. Who is Marline? I am a young vibrant African girl, I am funny, intelligent and out going.

2. What do you love about yourself? What I love about myself is that I am comfortable in my natural look and I accept who I am despite the negativity thrown at me.

3. What do you think made you win that day? My confidence, that was one of the things that made me win, I represented myself without fear, not only am I representing myself but I also represented all the young girls who were rejected because of how dark and slim they looked.

4. How did you build your confidence? I accepted myself because I realized that there is no one that can ever be me, I worked on believing myself.

5. What did you win? A title and price 6. Would you enter the same competition again this year if given the opportunity? No, I wouldn't but I will encourage young stars like me to enter in the next pageant.

7. Did you enter any other pageants after winning and how did you do? No, I didn't.

8. If you could give advice to someone who want to join a beauty pageant and win, what would you tell them? My advice is that when you enter a pageant do not only think about the price, remember why are you doing it, who do you want to inspire and what change will you bring to the community and always remember to be comfortable in your natural look, be confident and do not think *negatively* about yourself.

9. What makes a model? Putting life into something that doesn't exist, you do that through your confident.
