Artist: Khethekile Mahlangu
Khethekile Mahlangu (born 4 December 1994) is a musician, dancer, model and actress born in Soshanguve, Gauteng, South Africa. Khethekile’s love for music was ignited by his brother who is a club dj. After relocating to Mpumalanga she started recording her music with Dj TTS, Dreo Beats and Happy V Skhosana. She’s had the pleasure of working with the matorokisi hit-maker Makhadzhi, Dj Micks from kalawa, Afri-glam at OR Thambo International Airport, The church of scientology, Caltex and Idol’s star Tebogo Louw as dancer. She has performed at Dinangwe Pub, Bongi Nkosi Lounge and Baseline; in 2019 she was one of the headline acts at the 5th annual Miss Jozi alongside Dj Soweto, Nerry, Assumpta, Qhawe and Wunda from Demor Music Entertainment. After burning the Miss Jozi stage she was asked for an interview on Hillbrow radio. The genre of music she does is house but she does not limit herself as she has recorded an African song in a Congolese language. Khethekile has performed at the annual event called “One Night Stand” she started with a friend. The event is held at her hometown in Turfontein, Mpumalanga, and gives artists the platform to share their talent with the common people.
