Vor der Montage muss der Installateur diese Anleitung lesen, verstehen und beachten. Die Uponor Systemkomponenten sind aufeinander abgestimmt und geprüft. Für Fremdkomponenten anderer Hersteller übernehmen wir keine Gewährleistung. Technische Änderungen vorbehalten.

Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung Regelset mit konstanter Vorlauftemperaturregelung von 20 – 50 °C zum Anschluss einer nachgeschalteten Fußbodenheizung an eine Heizungsanlage, die nicht im Niedertemperaturbereich läuft. Das Uponor Profi Festwert-Regelset und die angeschlossenen Uponor Profi Verteiler sind mit Heizungswasser gemäß VDI 2035 zu betreiben.

Funktion

Function

In den Rücklaufverteilerbalken des Uponor Profi Fußbodenheizungsverteilers wird über das Thermostatventil, gesteuert von einem Thermostatkopf mit Fernfühler (Messung der Vorlauftemperatur der Fußbodenheizung am Vorlaufverteilerbalken), das Vorlaufwasser des Heizkörperkreislaufes eingespeist. Im Rücklaufverteilerbalken wird dieses Medium mit dem Rücklaufwasser der Fußbodenheizung gemischt und dem Vorlaufbalken der Fußbodenheizung zugeführt.

Die Vorlauftemperatur der Fußbodenheizung wird durch das Thermostatventil auf den eingestellten Wert (20 – 50 °C) geregelt. Der Temperaturwächter (werkseitig auf 55 °C voreingestellt) überwacht die eingestellte maximale Temperatur der Fußbodenheizung. Wird der Wert überschritten, stellt die Umwälzpumpe ab und das Thermostatventil unterbricht die Einspeisung.

In the return manifold bars of the Uponor Profi underfloor heating, the system is controlled via the thermostat valve, which is in turn controlled by the thermostat head with remote sensor (which measures the supply temperature of the underfloor heating system at the supply manifold), thus supplying the radiator loop with water. In the return manifold bars, this water is mixed with the water from the return flow of the underfloor heating system, and fed into its supply bar. The thermostat valve maintains the supply temperature of the underfloor heating system at its preset level (20 °C – 50 °C). The temperature controller (factoryadjusted to 55 °C) monitors the preset maximum temperature of the underfloor heating system. If the value exceeds its preset level, the circulation pump stops and the thermostat valve shuts off the supply.

Zum leichteren Befüllen/Entlüften der Anlage kann das Ventil am Eckstück geschlossen werden. Nach dem Be-füllen muss das Ventil wieder vollständig geöffnet werden.

The valve on the elbow joint can be shut for easier filling/draining of the system. The valve must be fully opened again once filling has taken place.

Installation in the manifold cabinet

Einbau in den Verteilerschrank Zum Einbau in Uponor Unterputz Verteilerschränke mit 110 mm Einbautiefe. Dabei ist ein zusätzlicher Platz­ bedarf im Verteilerschrank von ca. 350 mm zu berücksichtigen.

Designed for installation in Uponor concealed manifold cabinets with fitting depth of 110 mm. Take into account the additional manifold-cabinet space requirement of approx. 350 mm.

Hinweis: Dem Festwert-Regelset sind 2 Schrauben M8 25 mm lang mit je drei Scheiben und einer Mutter beigefügt.

Unter ungünstigen Montagebedingungen kann es vorkommen, dass die Umwälzpumpe gegen die Rück­wand des Verteilerschrankes stößt. In diesem Fall besteht die Möglichkeit, die originalen kurzen Befestigungsschrauben M8 16 mm im oberen Bereich des Verteilerhalters durch die beigefügten Schrauben M8 25 mm zu ersetzen. Der Platzgewinn von der Verteilerschrank­ rückwand zur Umwälzpumpe beträgt maximal 3,5 mm.

The constant temperature control unit is supplied with 2 x M8 25 mm-long bolts, with three washers and a nut each. In unfavourable installation conditions, the circulation pump may hit against the back wall of the manifold cabinet. If this is the case, the original short M8 16 mm fixing bolts in the upper part of the manifold bracket can be replaced with the M8 25 mm bolts supplied. A maximum space of 3.5 mm can be gained with respect to the distance between the back wall of the manifold cabinet and the circulation pump.

An den Vorlaufverteilerbalken die Regulierverschraubung 5 , an den Rücklaufverteilerbalken das Ther-mostatventil 6 montieren.

Beim Einbau des Thermostatventils 6 ist die Fließrichtung zu beachten.

Thermostatkopf 7 auf Thermos­ tatventil 6 schrauben. Den Anlegefühler A des Thermostatkopfes 7 mit Klemme 8 am Vorlauf befestigen. Die Tauchhülse 11 auf die Winkel­verschraubung 3 ein­­­­schrau­­­b­­en. Den Fühler des Begrenzungsthermostaten E in die Tauchhülse 11 einsetzen. Screw the thermostat head 7 to the thermostat valve 6 . Use the clamp 8 to fit the feed sensor A of the thermostat valve 7 to the supply inlet. Screw the immersion sleeve 11 onto the elbow compression joint 3 . Insert the sensor of the limiting thermostat E into the immersion sleeve 11 . Insert the thermometer 9 into the elbow compression joint 2 .

Elektrische Verdrahtung

Electrical wiring

Die elektrische Installation darf nur von zugelassenem Fachpersonal unter Beachtung aller relevanten Sicherheitsvorschriften durchgeführt werden! Die VDE-ENund TÜV-Vorschriften sind einzuhalten! Installieren Sie die Regelungskomponenten nur an eine festverlegte und entsprechend abgesicherte elektrische Leitung.

Note that all electrical installation work must be carried out by suitably trained and qualified technicians, who should follow all relevant safety regulations when doing so. Observe the Association of German Electrotechnical Engineers (VDE) EN and TÜV regulations – or your local equivalents – at all times. The control components must be connected to a fixed, correctly fuse-protected, electrical supply lead.

Important: Disconnect the system from the power supply by pulling out the plug BEFORE starting work.

Die Verdrahtung der Uponor 230 Volt Regelungskomponenten (Raumtemperaturregler, Uhren-Raumthermostate, Stellantriebe) sollte über den Uponor Regelverteiler 6 oder 8fach in Kombination mit dem Pumpenrelais er-folgen. Somit besteht die Möglichkeit, die Umwälzpumpe des Profi Festwert-Regelsets so anzuschließen, dass bei fehlender Wärmeanforderung durch die Raumtemperaturregler (alle Uponor Stellantriebe geschlossen), die Pumpe automatisch abgeschalten wird.

The Uponor 230-volt control components (room thermostats, timer/room thermostats, actuators) should be wired via the six- or eight-way Uponor control unit in combination with the pump relay. It is thus possible to connect the circulation pump of the Profi constant temperature control unit in such a way that the pump is shut down automatically if there is no heat requirement from the room thermostat (i.e. with all Uponor actuators closed).

Die Verdrahtung der Uponor Funkregelung (FunkRaumthermostat, Stellantriebe) sollte über den Uponor Funk-Regelverteiler 8fach erfolgen. Somit besteht die Möglichkeit, die Umwälzpumpe des Profi FestwertRegelsets so anzuschließen, dass bei fehlender Wärmeanforderung durch den Funk-Raumthermostat (alle Uponor Stellantriebe geschlossen), die Pumpe automatisch abgeschalten wird.

The Uponor radio control system (radio control room thermostat, actuators) should be wired via the Uponor eight-way radio-control unit. This makes it possible to connect the circulation pump of the Profi constant temperature control unit in such a way that the pump is shut down automatically if there is no heat requirement from the radio-control room thermostat (i.e. with all Uponor actuators closed).

Die den Regelungskomponenten beiliegenden Montage- und Bedienungsanleitungen sind zu beachten. Vor der Montage muss das Fachpersonal die Anleitungen lesen, verstehen und beachten.

Observe the installation and operating instructions supplied with the control components. The technicians responsible for installation should read these instructions thoroughly before starting work, and should observe them at all times.

Befüllen und Entlüften der Anlage Das Ventil in der Winkelverschraubung 2 wird beim Befüllen der Anlage vollständig geschlossen. Jeder Heizkreis ist separat zu befüllen und zu entlüften.

Filling and bleeding the system The valve on the elbow compression joint 2 should be completely shut while the system is being filled. Each loop should be filled and bled separately.

Achtung: Nach dem Befüllen ist das Ventil des Eckstücks wieder vollständig zu öffnen!

Important: Note that the valve on the elbow joint should be opened completely after the filling operation has taken place.

Achtung: Beim Füll-, Entleer- oder Entlüftungsvorgang kein Wasser über den Anschlusskasten der Pumpe laufen lassen!

Einregulierung des Uponor Profi Festwert-Regelsets

Adjustment of the Uponor Profi constant temperature control unit

1. Anlage komplett mit Wasser füllen und entlüften.

2. Thermostatventil mit Fernfühler 6 am Eingang des Rücklaufverteilers sowie Regulier­ver­schraubung 5 am Ausgang des Vorlaufverteilers komplett schließen.

3. Raumthermostate auf maximale Raum­tem­peratur einstellen und damit die Stellantriebe öffnen. Falls noch keine elektrische Verdrahtung erfolgt ist, die Stellantriebe vom Profi Verteiler abschrauben (Stellantriebe stromlos geschlossen).

4. Umwälzpumpe 4 des Profi Festwert-Regelsets einschalten. Drehzahl der Umwälzpumpe entsprechend der Anlagengröße einstellen.

5. Durchflussmesser oder Regulier­ventile am Rücklaufverteilerbalken entsprechend der Berechnung auf die benötigten Durch­flussmengen einstellen.

6. Wärmeerzeuger auf die maximale Auslegungs­ temperatur des vorgeschaltenen Heizsystems einstellen und in Betrieb nehmen. Die Betriebs­ temperatur des Heizkreises vor dem Festwert­ regelset sollte mindestens 15 °C über der maximalen Vorlauftemperatur (max. 50 °C) der Fußbodenheizung liegen.

7. Alle Einrichtungen zur Wärmeabgabe (Heizkörper etc.) öffnen und das Heizsystem einregulieren.

8. Am Eingang des Rücklaufverteilers den Thermostatkopf 7 des Thermostatventils 6 abschrauben (Thermostat voll geöffnet).

9. Regulierverschraubung 5 am Verteilerausgang so weit öffnen, dass die Vorlauftemperatur der Fuß­bodenheizung die Auslegungstemperatur (max. 50 °C) erreicht.

1. Fill the system completely with water and bleed of air.

2. Completely shut the thermostat valve with remote sensor 6 on the inlet of the return manifold and the balancing screw 5 on the outlet of the supply manifold.

3. Set the room thermostats to the maximum room temperature, with the actuators open for the purpose. If the electrical system has not yet been wired up, unscrew the actuators from the Profi manifold (actuator closed when idle).

4. Switch on the circulation pump 4 of the Profi constant temperature control unit. Adjust the turning speed of the circulation pump to match the size of the system.

5. Adjust the flow meter or regulating valves on the return manifold bar, in accordance with the calculation, for the required flow quantities.

6. Set the heat source to the maximum running tem-perature of the upstream heating system and put into operation. The operating temperature of the loop upstream of the constant temperature control unit should be at least 15 °C above the maximum supply temperature (max. 50 °C) of the underfloor heating system.

7. Open all heat-delivery points (radiators etc.) and adjust the heating system.

8. Unscrew the thermostat head 7 of the thermostat valve 6 at the inlet of the return manifold bar (with thermostat fully opened).

9. Open the balancing screw 5 on the manifold outlet to a point where the supply temperature of the underfloor heating system reaches running temperature (max. 50 °C).

10. Einstellung des Begrenzungsthermostats 4 überprüfen (max. 55 °C bei Zementstrich, bzw. nach Herstellerangaben bei Anhydritestrich).

Hierzu die Abdeckung des Thermostats abschrauben (Netzstecker ziehen!). Anschließend Abdeckung wieder anschrauben.

10. Adjustment of the limitation thermostat 4 check (max. 55 °C with cement based screed, resp. according the manufacturers instructions when using anhydrite liqued screed). For this srew off the thermostat cover (disconnect the power plug!).

Afterwards srew on the cover again.

11. Thermostatkopf 7 des Thermostatsventils 6 am Eingang des Rücklaufverteilers wieder aufschrauben und die gewünschte Vorlauftemperatur einstellen.

11. Screw the thermostat head 7 of the thermostat valve 6 back onto the inlet of the return manifold and adjust to the desired supply temperature.

12. Aufheizung des Heizestrichs (Nassestrich) gemäß DIN EN 1264 durchführen. Hierzu Thermostatventil 3 Tage auf 25 °C und anschließend 4 Tage auf volle Aus­legungs­temperatur (max. 50 °C) einstellen.

12. Warm up the heating screed (wet screed) in accordance with German Institute for Standardization (DIN) norm EN 1264. When doing so, set the thermostat valve to 25 °C for three days and then for four days at full running temperature (max.

50 °C).

13. Falls Stellantriebe demontiert sind, diese wieder am Heizkreisverteiler der Fußbodenheizung aufschrauben (Verdrahtung der Elektrik prüfen).

13. If the actuators have been dismantled, screw them back onto the heating-loop manifold of the underfloor heating system (check electrical wiring).

14. Da sich im laufenden Betrieb die hydraulischen bzw. die thermischen Verhältnisse ändern, wird empfohlen, nach ca. einer Woche nach Inbetrieb­ nahme sämtliche Einstellungen nochmals zu überprüfen. Gegebenenfalls sind die Einstellungen, wie in Punkt 6 – 11 beschrieben, zu korrigieren.

14. As the hydraulic and/or thermal ratios change during continuous operation, it is advisable to check all adjustment settings again about one week after initial startup. Correct the adjustment settings as required (see point 6 – 11).

Fehlerbehebung

Fehler: Fußboden ist nach 1 Tag Heizbetrieb noch nicht warm.

Fault: Floor is still cold after heating system has been in operation for a day.

Wärmeerzeuger läuft im Absenkbetrieb.

Stellantriebe sind nicht geöffnet (Hubanzeige kontrollieren).

Umwälzpumpe im vorgeschaltenen Heizsystem läuft nicht.

The heat source is running in reduction mode.

The actuators are not open (check stroke indicator).

Eingestellte Pumpendrehzahl ist zu klein.

Hydraulischer Abgleich der Fußbodenheizung fehlt.

The pump speed adjustment setting is too low.

There is no hydraulic equalisation of the underfloor heating system.

An excessive amount of water is being fed in by the upstream heating system. Please close off the balancing screw of the constant temperature control unit, as per the method described above.

Bei Umschaltung des vorgeschaltenen Heizsystems von Heiz- auf Warmwasser­­­vorrangbetrieb und gleichzeitigem Weiterlaufen der Profi Festwert-Regelset Pumpe wird eine Fehlzirkulation im vorgeschaltenen Heizkreis ausgelöst. Die falsche Fließrichtung des Heizwassers während der Warmwasser-Aufheizphase kann hier eventuell eine Geräuschbildung an den Heizkörpern verursachen.

This problem can arise particularly in heating systems where a three-way control valve is used to provide warm-water priority operation. Die elektrische Verdrahtung so ausführen, dass im Brauchwasservorrangbetrieb die Umwälzpumpe des Profi Festwert-Regelsets abgeschaltet wird. Alternativ kann das Problem auch durch Einbau einer Rückschlagklappe in einer Kurzschlussstrecke zwischen Vorlauf und Rücklauf gelöst werden.

Install the electrical wiring in such a way that the circulation pump of the Profi constant temperature control unit shuts down when the system is in service water priority operation.
