Help Keep the Kenai Clean
We locals are passionate about keeping the Kenai River, Upper Peninsula and surrounding areas free from trash, debris and human waste. Please help us out by picking up after yourself and leave a place looking better than you found it.

What to do “When Nature Calls” ?
• Whenever possible use public restrooms. (Locations on chart, pg. 22.)
• If you are on or by the river bring a double bagging pack-out system.
• In the backcountry, dig a hole 6-8 inches deep and bury the organic evidence. Bring an extra plastic/ Ziploc bag and pack out toilet paper, wipes, hygiene products and all trash.
