CAMP & RETREAT MINISTRIES is an outreach ministry of the Upper New York Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church. Each year we offer a wide range of retreat and event opportunities for adults, youth, families, clergy and ministry leaders. We invite you to spend a day, an overnight or multiple days and nights. Our centers can accommodate a variety of group types and sizes. Experience exceptional hospitality, home cooked meals, great accommodations, recreation, relaxation options and a caring staff. ACCOMMODATIONS Hotel-style, semi-private and dormitory-style lodges and seasonal cabins are available. Families, couples, adult groups and youth groups can select comfortable, affordable facilities that meet their retreat or event needs. FOOD SERVICE Healthy and nourishing meals are served either family or buffet style. We understand that fellowship around the table is a big part of each event. Let us know if you would like to add a snack! Allergies or special dietary restrictions can be accommodated with advance notice.
AMENITIES & ACTIVITIES Select from a variety of meeting and gathering spaces for groups of all sizes. Audio/ visual equipment, white boards and other meeting amenities can be available for use. Be sure to include time for fun, relaxation and free time as part of your retreat. The Family Campground at Sky Lake Families and church groups find peace and solitude at Sky Lake’s Family Campground. Two dozen spacious campsites (six with electric) afford the privacy and tranquility to experience renewal of body and spirit through the wonder of the natural world. This retreat is designed to help better equip the caregivers of youth (parents, grandparents, pastors, Sunday School teachers, youth group leaders, camp leaders, confirmation mentors, etc.) to think more intentionally about God, the Bible, and how to apply this knowledge in their unique ministry settings. Retreat & Event Policies REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION Once registration and payment are processed, participants will receive a registration confirmation packet. This packet will contain information needed for arrival and check-in. If there are questions about your reservation or the retreat, please call so we may be of assistance. CANCELLATION POLICY In the case of cancellation due to documented medical concern or due to a death in the family that prohibits attendance, a full refund will be provided. Cancellation for other reasons more than three (3) weeks prior to the event start date will be refunded the full amount minus the deposit. Refunds are not available for cancellation within three (3) weeks of the event start date except for documented medical concern or death in the family. Refunds are not available once the event begins or if the participant leaves the retreat early. PRIVACY POLICY We respect the privacy of personal information submitted to us. Information is collected only for the purposes of this ministry and may be disclosed to staff in the performance of their job duties or to others for statistical purposes only. Participants’ name/address/e-mail may be shared with his/her program group and UM agencies; and still/video pictures and/or quotes may be used for promotional purposes. We are committed to protecting your information to the best of our ability. We assume the submission of a registration represents your consent for us to collect, use and disclose your personal information, still/video pictures and/ or quotes for the purposes listed above.
