WiththeFormTeachertakingresponsibility fortheclass,youwilldevelopexpertiseand confidenceinapressurefreeenvironment designedtoenableyoutoenjoyyourearly daysofteaching,toreachyourfullpotential andthrive.

Co-teacherswhodemonstratethe necessaryskillsandcommitmentintheirfirst yearwillbepromotedtothepositionof JuniorSchoolFormTeacher,withfull responsibilityfortheirclass.
Youwillcontinuetoreceivefirstclasstraining andsupport,andwillalsobeginyourformal inductionprocesswhichwillcontinueinto yourthirdyear.
Withtheguidanceandsupportofyour mentor,youwillcontinuetobuildandapply yourknowledgethroughself-study,mentor meetings,trainingsessionsandonline learningcommunitysessions.

PROGRAMMEREQUIREMENTS
TojoinourEarlyCareerTeacherProgrammein2025-26youmusthavecompletedyourPrimary teachertrainingintheUKandyoumustholdQualifiedTeacherStatusbeforeyoujointheschool inAugust2025. Youmaycurrentlybecompleting(andontracktoachieve)yourBEdorPGCE,or youmayhaverecentlyqualified,buthavenotyetcompletedorbegunyourinductionprogramme. Youmustbereadytofullycommittothethreeyearprogramme.
PleasenotethattheECTProgrammeiscurrentlyonlyavailabletoPrimaryQualifiedteachers,as theCo-TeachersrolesareallintheJuniorSchoolin2025-26.Inthefuture,wehopetoexpandthe programmetoincludeSeniorSchoolTeachers.
