Hello (585) families
from (585) Kids magazine Spring 2023
by JFM Publishing—(585) magazine / (585) Kids / Upstate Gardeners' Journal
It is with a heavy heart that we share that our very first “Ask Audrey” interviewee has left us. Madison Kait Bathelmes passed away on February 14, 2023. Madison was seven years old. She loved to dance and eat french fries and ice cream. Her favorite nurse was Sam, and her favorite movie was Harry Potter. We just love that Audrey Mead interviewed this sweet little girl about her brave fight against leukemia. Our greatest hope was that a year after that interview we would be able to write about Madison’s recovery. We are grateful that Audrey gave us a small glimpse into Maddie’s life.
If you would like to donate life-saving blood or platelets in Madison’s honor you can give to Team Mighty for Madison through the American Red Cross. redcrossblood.org
