Exposición Comercial de la República Popular China de 2013 A invitación del Ministerio de Economía, Planificación y Desarrollo, el Consejo Chino para el Fomento del Comercio Internacional (CCPIT) celebrará la Exposición Comercial de la República Popular China en la ciudad de Santo Domingo, que tendrá lugar del 26 al 29 de septiembre de 2013. Tendrán presencia en esta exposición cerca de 30 empresas chinas, provenientes de 7 ciudades o provincias, como Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, Shandong, Zhejiang, Guangdong, con una superficie de exhibición de 1500 metros cuadrados. Los principales productos que se exhibirán son, entre otros: automóviles, motocicletas, aparatos electrónicos de baja tensión, energía fotovoltaica, ferretería, productos de industria ligera, artículos de consumo diario. Las empresas participantes, con su tecnología avanzada y productos de buena calidad, satisfacen la necesidad de los clientes dominicanos y crean más oportunidades de cooperación. La antigua civilización china de 5.000 años y el espectacular desarrollo económico muestra el atractivo inagotable del país. Esta Exposición, con la presentación audio-visual, fotos, iluminación y objetos, lleva a usted a apreciar la larga historia, hermoso paisaje, tradición particular del pueblo y los logros de la contrucción económica de China. A pesar de la gran distancia geográfica entre China y la República Dominicana, las empresas chinas han mostrado mucho interés en la cooperación económico-comercial bilateral. En el futuro, se nos está mostrando una amplia perspectica y un enorme potencial de cooperación no solo en los intercambios económico-comerciales sino también en muchas otras áreas. China Council for the Promotion of International Trade （CCPIT） El Consejo Chino para el Fomento del Comercio Internacional es una organización de nivel nacional no gubermental de economía y comercio con el exterior, constituida por personalidades, empresas y grupos representativos de los círculos económicos y comerciales de China, cuya abreviatura en inglés es CCPIT (China Council for the Promotion of International Trade). Se fundó en mayo del año 1952 y, en junio de 1988 organizó la Cámara de Comercio Internacional de China, cuya abreviatura en inglés es CCOIC (China Chamber of International Trade). Siguiendo las Leyes de la República Popular China y las políticas del gobierno, CCPIT tiene como su finalidad desarrollar las actividades para promover el comercio con el exterior, utilizar inversiones foráneas, introducir avanzadas técnicas extranjeras, así como todas las formas dea actividades de cooperación económica y técnica entre China y el extranjero; fomentar el desarrollo de las relaciones económicos-comerciales entre China y diversos países y regiones del mundo; fortalecer la comprensión y amistad entre China y los demás pueblos y círculos económicos del universo. En la actualidad, CCPIT y CCOIC ya han establecido amplios vínculos económicos y comerciales con los círculos industriales, comerciales y empresariales de más de 200 países y regiones, han

firmado convenios de cooperación con más de 300 organizaciones similares y han formado federación de cámaras con las contrapartes de ciertos países. Al mismo tiempo, CCPIT y CCOIC han abierto oficinas de representación acreditadas en 16 países y regiones, han instituido en el propio país 50 sucursales en diversas provincias, regiones autónomas y municipios directamente subordinados al Gobierno Central, así como más de 600 filiales y cámaras de comercio internacional de nivel distrital. Además han constituido 20 sucursales industriales en distintos sectores tales como la de industria mecánica, industria electrónica, industria ligera, industria textil, industria agrícola, industria automotriz, industria petroquímica, comercio, industria metalúrgica, industria aeronáutica, industria espacial, industria química, industria de materiales de construcción , industria de comunicaciones, sector de suministro y venta, industria de construcción, sector de cereales, industria hullera, industria minera, industria logística, etc. Cuentan con cerca de 70000 empresas miembros a nivel nacional y ofrecen orientaciones a la Asociación de Empresas de Servicios de Relaciones Exteriores de China. Las organizaciones internacionales en que han participado tanto el mismo CCPIT como los departamentos operativos que tiene subordinados, comprenden la Organización Mundial de la Propiedad Intelectual, la Asociación Internacional para la Protección de la Propiedad Industrial, la Federación Internacional de Trabajadores de Comercio de Licencias, el Comité Marítimo Internacional, la Unión de las Ferias Internacionales, la Federación de Organismos de Arbitraje de Comercio Internacional, el Consejo de Economía de la Cuenca del Pacífico, la Cámara Internacional de Comercio, etc.
