UP Police advanced this theory after a bullet mark on a tree was found during the STPS investigation. Dagdag added that during the initial investigation, David had told him he “had no known enemies” and he could not understand why his house was shot at. While David and his family did not ask for protection, Dagdag asked UPD security personnel to “intensify patrols in the area,” so the incident won’t happen again. As of May 9, security patrol has returned to normal operations.
