FOREWORD Spring has arrived, and with that comes April Showers and rainy days. Here at Uptempo Magazine, we decided not to hide under our umbrellas but to embrace a little precipitation. Therefor we’ve dedicated this entire issue to water and the celebration of growth. We have selected a variety of beautiful editorials that focus on bodies of water, be it an Indian Ocean, Black Sea or a little artificial rain. As usual, we have gathered some of the best and most talented photographers in the industry who have an undeniable thirst for adventure and a keen eye for anything and everything mind blowing. Within the pages of this book, you’ll travel to exotic, undiscovered locales (Cool Mist); wet, humid towns of Latin America (Accidental Tourist); and the mind blowing underwater world as you've never seen it before (Underwater Moonlight). Every image will without a doubt make you long for hot summer days and soothing moonlit evening swims. We are especially proud to introduce our readers to a new, fresh, previously never before published talent from Ukraine (and coincidentally my birthplace) - Lena Pogrebnaya (Dirty Waters). Her sharp eye and fresh approach to the subject matter of water have captured the dark beauty of the Black Sea as it has never been shown before.
