Our full-service, in-house, events team is here to help you create an unforgettable event. From selecting a space in one of our venues; to customizing menu and beverage packages; to booking preferred vendors and arranging entertainment, we are here to create an event as unique as you are.
MINIMUMS & FEES
In lieu of charging a room rental fee, we simply ask that you spend a minimum on food and bever age throughout the duration of your event. Food and beverage minimums are calculated based on the venue, date, time and length of the event. Please contact an event planner for your customized quote.
In addition to the minimum the following fees may apply to food and beverages: A 2% City of Charleston Hospitality Tax, 9% Tax on Food, Beer and Wine, 14% Tax on Liquor and 20% Gratuity. Private events also incur a 5% admin fee and cover charge. Cover charges will incur a 5% admission tax.

UPTOWN SOCIAL
Located at 587 King Street, Uptown Social is a one-of-a-kind venue boasting over 10,000 square feet of event space. Featuring a massive dining room, four bars, two additional private rooms and a stunning outdoor wooden rooftop, Uptown Social truly has it all. Choose from the Hudson Room, Cooper Room, Rooftop or any combo for a private event in our flagship location.
Share House features expansive garage doors that bring the outdoors in, It is a coastal cantina style venue with a menu perfect for sharing. Nestled in the heart of downtown Charleston at 23 Ann Street, Share House boasts the Avalon and Amagansett Rooms which are perfect for those looking to celebrate in proper Charleston fashion.
Bodega is the sister restaurant to Share House at 23 Ann Street and features a New York-style deli by day and intimate cocktail lounge by night. Bodega can be rented out in it’s entirety for private events, just ask us how!

With two TV’s, windows overlooking King Street and a private bar, the Hudson Room is perfect for more intimate parties and those looking for a true Charleston feel. The smallest of Uptown Social’s event spaces, the Hudson Room has direct access to the rooftop and can be combined with the Cooper Room for larger parties.

The Cooper Room features beautiful vaulted ceilings adorned with crystal chandeliers, four French doors leading to the semi porch area of the outdoor rooftop, a private restroom and three TVs. A fantastic add-on to the Hudson Cooper Room, the semi porch allows your event to have seamless flow between indoors and outdoors. This covered portion of our rooftop space allows for more seating for your guests and gives them the opportunity to enjoy Charleston’s beautiful weather.

HUDSON COOPER ROOM WITH ROOFTOP
Have a slice of Uptown Social all to yourself by renting the entire second floor of the building. The rooftop bar, Hudson and Cooper Room can be yours for the day in the perfect blend of indoor and outdoor event spaces. This rental can accommodate up to 350 people and features two indoor bars, one outdoor bar and four private restrooms.

VIP SECTION
Located in the main dining room of Uptown Social and overlooking all the action, the raised VIP Area can be rented out for smaller groups up to twenty guests looking for a semi-private space. Share House’s two rooms, Avalon and Amagansett, can be rented out separately or together for any size party. Each space has pops of warm pastel colors, a full-service, custom oyster shell/sea glass bar, private deck space and a mix of low and cocktail tables.
Share House’s sister venue, Bodega, is amazing for private events as the venue is exclusively yours for the duration of your party. Featuring a uniquely New York City flair, Bodega is bold and edgy and highlights two massive garage doors that open onto private deck space. It is outfitted with a high vaulted ceiling, graffiti artwork, fully stocked bar, sound system and twelve high top tables with backed bar stools.
FOOD & BEVERAGE BAR PACKAGES
CASH BAR
Guests may purchase their own drinks individually with cash or credit card and may start their own tab. Drinks are full price in the private party room and specials from the main bar do not apply.
BAR TAB
One tab, by consumption. The bar tab is prepaid according to the agreed upon amount and all drinks are accounted for by the bartender throughout the course of the event. The host can set a cap amount on the tab and may choose to limit what selections are offered on the tab.
OPEN BAR
Per person charge for unlimited drinks. Each guest is subject to a per person charge and will receive unlimited drinks for a specified amount of time.

CATERING
Uptown Hospitality offers a full catering menu with a variety of options. Our Event Planners are happy to customize any package to fit your needs and budget. We offer the menu either per person or a la carte. Service is typically buffet; However, family style and passed are available upon request. Additional fees may apply.
PER PERSON
The menu is priced per person and you are charged for each guest in attendance. There is enough for two pieces of each selection per guest or one serving per guest.
A LA CARTE
An ‘A la carte menu’ offers you variety and the ability to customize your menu. You may order items by the piece, single serving (minimum of twenty pieces), or display (serves twenty).
