A GUIDE TO CHARLESTON BY THE URBAN ELECTRIC C o
OUT & ABOUT
REX WALL, BULL STREET
HILLGATE POCKET, HASELL STREET

CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA

EAT, DRINK, EXPLORE AND MORE

Charleston may have gotten its Holy City nickname from the preponderance of steeples that punctuate the skyline, but the restaurant scene has added a fresh touch of the divine to our Lowcountry capital—and not just in terms of the food. There is also an array of next-level inspiration to be found in the designs of the restaurants, and we are proud to play a part in many of these meticulously crafted interiors. From the Malplaquets hanging over the oyster bar at The Ordinary to the Double Chilterns adding Continental ambiance to the Italian vibe at Melfi’s to the custom fixtures upping the mid-century polish at The Dewberry, Urban Electric fixtures illuminate some of the most diverse dining destinations in town. And in between meals, there’s no shortage of places to see and experience in Charleston, either. Here is our guide to some of the brightest places lighting up the local scene. Welcome to town.
