Paladin:
The striking vertical fin design of the Paladin is the first thing you’ll notice. With this approach any sense of posts is kept to a minimum, making for a consistent look along the entire fencing line. Maximus:
Some walls can be challenging to properly safeguard, particularly with the various changes in heights and angles to plan for and protect from. That’s where the Maximus rises to the occasion. The Maximus fence panel was designed specifically for quick and efficient wall balustrade installation. It’s heavy-duty top rail and robust construction ensures the highest levels of protection and, as it can rake up to 30 degrees, it can climb steep terrain and safely conquer territory. Complying with the NZBC F4 specification requirements, it can be installed at 2.4m centres with classical style and maximum strength.

Assure:
The adaptable style of the Assure panel looks good no matter which way you look at it. Being able to turn the panel upside down is a big part of its appeal - and so too is the option to use Assure raking panels to meet the demands of steep terrain. Residential placement often uses the panel with the studded side up, and the flat-top option makes it ideal for the school and childcare environment. Assure HD:
Since we added this panel in 2016 other companies have released their own versions. Which makes sense – it’s very popular. However when you need the most robust aluminium fence panel available, stick with the original. With a double top rail for added strength and large vertical bars that can’t easily be damaged, the Assure HD panel has been designed to comply with MOE specifications for schools as well as meeting pool regulations for residential use. Providing first-rate durability and security while avoiding an overly threatening appearance, it’s used frequently in commercial applications. We’ve stayed ahead of the competition with our raking version of the Assure HD as well – this option can rake up to 20 degrees to accommodate extremely steep terrain.

Secura:
It’s coming up on two decades since we introduced the Secura panel. Since then the strong spiked tops of this panel have become the go-to fence for many a New Zealand business and highway. Built tough and made to last, the Secura fence provides a brilliant deterrent to would-be intruders. Combining a double rail for added strength, large virtually indestructible vertical bars, and additional spikes on the top, it’s got all the design features needed for a security fence. This is also available as a raking panel, which allows it to rake at an angle of up to 20 degrees. It’s well designed for a great looking installation, making it ideal for road frontages too. Sliding, cantilever and swing entry gates can also be made to match – ensuring seamless and secure boundary protection.

Shipping
Why is aluminium the preferred raw material?
What is the best way to start including your fencing products on our projects?
How fast can you ship gates and fences around New Zealand?
Aluminium is lightweight but strong, easy to work with and gives the best surface finish once powder coated. Unlike steel the surface is smooth and naturally resistant to rust. So you can be sure your fences and gates will last a lifetime.
Get in contact and our project teams will walk you through the process.
We always aim to ship product in 1 to 2 days in the North Island and 2 to 3 days in the South Island. We are also exploring new distribution opportunities in the South Island to help bring shipping times here into line with the North Island.
Where are the gates and fences built? All our custom gates and fences are made at our Levin facility. We have invested in our machinery to ensure our in-house production delivers the quickest lead times and best quality product. How many colours are available? We have literally hundreds! We can powder coat any colour from the Dulux or the Interpon range. Is there a warranty available? For all custom products we manufacture, we offer a ten-year warranty on powder coating and workmanship. Imported products have a one-year warranty period. Does your fencing meet all necessary codes? Of course it does – F4, B2, C3 just to mention a few. We also have options to meet balustrade and pool regulations and all Ministry of Education specifications. The only code our fencing doesn’t meet is morse code. But, if you tap them properly, who knows?
I’m an architect, how can Urban Group help me? We work with Architects across the country, for bespoke projects and developments - we can have an account manager discuss your unique requirements. Does Urban Group supply & install? Urban Group is a B2B supplier - we manufcature and supply for our network of installers, developers and builders around NZ. We have multiple projects that have different fencing requirements. How can Urban Group assist us? Urban Group has the experience to walk your designers, architects, site managers and procurement staff through the process. What is involved in the initial fence design process? We can tailor the fence and gate designs to suit your specifications. Our four decades of experience allow us to offer advice on layout, design restrictions and
Are there any locations where you don’t ship? To put it simply: no. From the top to the bottom of the country if you need it, we’ll find a way to get it to you. How do you ship? If the order is relatively small we ship by courier – this is the fastest and most efficient way of getting the fencing from A to B. For larger orders we use specialised carriers as they have the experience and resources to move in bulk. How much does shipping cost? We negotiate with shipping companies to get the very best deal for our customers. It’s important to remember here that we don’t work for the shipping companies – they work for us.
