Don't skip your mammogram! The Breast Center recommends that women have annual mammograms starting at age forty. This past year, many women postponed mammograms due to COVID-19. However, you should not delay your medical care. Delaying cancer screening delays cancer detection. The longer a cancer goes undetected, the more difficult it is to treat. Cancer is most treatable when it is found early. The five-year survival rate for breast cancer that is found early is ninety-nine percent. Mammograms save lives, don’t wait to schedule your screening. Call our main line at 479.442.6266 or toll free 866.718.6266.
