The creative eyes of Ms Blaze and Urban Road’s creative director Suzie Atkin have aligned to develop four truly unique yet harmonising collections. Be taken on a journey of nature at its finest, with organic and abstract forms, and a sense of fluid, elegant movement. These collections embrace a diverse palette from whimsical feminine to moody and mysterious, offering colours and designs to complement the look and feel of any space. “I have always loved and lived by the quote, “It’s a beautiful thing when a career and passion come together,” and I felt this instantly when meeting Suzie and the team at Urban Road. With a love of fine arts and of course interiors I have found it frustrating I can’t produce more artwork of my own due to time constraints. Being able to find someone like Suzie who immediately got where I was coming from with design and colour direction, mixed with her talent as an artist it was the perfect meeting of two artistic minds. I am incredibly excited about this collaboration and each piece brings a big smile to my face. COLOUR PALETTES Before lifting a paintbrush, the artist prepares their palette – the muse for their craft. Shaynna and Suzie worked together to create three vastly different image boards to inspire these collections. From delicate dusty pinks to deep blues and a splash of tropical summer, the palettes contain contrasting but complementary hues, shapes, objects and images - the seeds of what would ultimately become the Urban Road-Shaynna Blaze Collaboration.

EINARSDOTTIR Urban Road is proud to present Gigja Einarsdottir, Icelandic Photographer. Gígja was born and raised with Icelandic horses. Her beautiful images capture the strength, grace, and gentle nature of the animals. They also benefit from her love and understanding of the horses themselves. “I love to work with them and watch them….they have an unbelievable network of communication and energy I can’t explain with words,” she says. What makes Gigja’s images so beautiful and exceptional is that she manages to not only capture the horse’s beauty but also its character.

Erin Petson was commissioned by MYER and Victoria Racing in Melbourne to create bespoke Fashion Illustrations of leading Australian Designers racewear looks for the 2014 Cup. The Artworks are now archived at the world famous grounds and Erin was invited to the event as a MYER fashions on the field judge. Erin created this limited edition Acrylic Art Print Block of ‘Fashion of the Field’ celebrate the event. The frames are made of quality Italian made timber moulding and fully glassed, matted and immaculately presented, they are available in multiple sizes, in either black, white, wood grain or metallic gold finish. Available in oak, black, white and metallic gold.
STRETC H ED C AN VAS BOX FR AMED Our canvas art prints are professionally printed on premium poly cotton artist canvas, using giclée/inkjet printing methods and then stretched and gallery wrapped (which means the image is stretched around the edges of the frame to create a seamless museum quality finish) around a 38mm kiln dried, wooden frame and come ready for instant hanging. We also offer the option to add a shadow box frame to your Urban Road canvas art print. The canvas sits flush with the frame 10mm from the edge, leaving a 10mm gap between the canvas and the frame. The depth of the frame is 50mm. Available in black, white or natural timber box frame.
