The festival kicks off on Friday, June 30th, with a special performance by Ms. Lauryn Hill. She will take us on a nostalgic journey, commemorating the 25th anniversary of her iconic Grammywinning album, "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill." Joining her on this unforgettable night are Hip-Hop pioneers curated by Doug E Fresh, including Big Daddy Kane, EPMD, KRS-One, and Slick Rick The stage will also be graced by talented artists such as Tems, Tobe Nwigwe, Jagged Edge, and Ari Lennox, with hosting by Deon Cole and musical sounds by DJ Clark Kent
Saturday, July 1st, promises to be a day of empowerment and groundbreaking performances Missy Elliott, the first female in Hip-Hop to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, will showcase her undeniable talent and innovation.
Joining her is the incomparable Jill Scott who will infuse the festival with her soulful Philly Soul. Prepare for a West Coast explosion as Ice Cube, DJ Quik, Ice T, Yo-Yo, Lady of Rage, J J Fad, and E-40 bring their California vibes to the stage.
