01. Dwell and Gaze W.K.C. ARCHITECTURE PORTFOLIO
My graduation project is exploring a mechanism of spatial development that is both precise and random. By negotiating back and forth between basic architectural elements (patio, sliding doors, thick walls) and functions, unexpected spatial relationships are formed. Residents can try new co-living states, or adjust again by changing boundaries. In addition, the pre-anchored L-shaped thick walls and hidden circulation system ensure all pragmatic considerations of the complex (pipelines, foyer zoning, circulation, window openings, service spaces, etc.) and guide the user in the way of splitting the space . Under the penetration of light from the patio and the change of sliding doors' boundary, people in the space can indirectly perceive each other's existence, while maintaining the freedom to close the boundary. It visualizes selectivity, so that all boundaries are at the same time a kind of blank space, boundaries that coexist with each other. ADVISOR:YU-LIN CHEN

W.K.C. ARCHITECTURE PORTFOLIO
Overall, this seemingly random collage space is actually the result of negotiation between the user and the space. People have to think about how to fit the function of the space, rather than directly meet all personal needs, and the space sometimes expands the user's imagination. The whole of this space is the set of all partial edge (selection) relationships. The edge of constant choice and change presents an attitude of incomplete possession, and shows the questioning of the established form of residence, as well as a possible test of future residence.

This proposal creates a series of modular squares which are incomplete on a corner. The loss on the corner actually makes nature able to be attached and the relationship between neighbors extended. This is a new co-living proposal starting from the unit design.
14
W.K.C. ARCHITECTURE PORTFOLIO
In a 6m*6m modular unit (including a 2m*2m patio), three space usage methods can be a c c o m m o d a t e d : s h o r t- t e r m living, shared living, and longterm living. When the epidemic is approaching which makes a lowdensity living method necessary, it makes people easier to exchange or adapt space. In addition, in the same type of module, there are still opportunities for flexible changes, which is planned in advance for long-term spatial adjustment method.
The unit forms a fragmented, organically growing settlement pattern, including patios, planting, sunshine, and a sense of community inside.

This is a proposal to reorganize the urban space resources and the care industry using social housing as a medium. Expand the external public welfare of social housing, while rethinking the relationship between the elderly and caregivers. This is a mechanism that allows love to circulate.
A life circle with social housing as the core and mutual support with BETTER HOUSE.
18
W.K.C. ARCHITECTURE PORTFOLIO
For senior citizens who live in buildings with two or more floors without elevators, whose real estate is under their name, and are in the health or disability period, they are open to apply for social housing. The government leases and manages its own house, optimizes the space and equipment to become a BETTER HOUSE, and then leases it out to the care industry for the services of care institutions or the residence of care personnel, and forms the near-localization of the care industry.
ONLINE GALLERY
Residential units allow for future conversion when the space is unused. Whether it is a nursing room for the elderly, or the surrounding school and community activity space, it is also included in the overall plan.

04. A ONE AND A TWO "Third Prize | Huacan Award " W.K.C. ARCHITECTURE PORTFOLIO
The Fujian Tulou that was used as a defense in the past is no longer in line with the needs of the times. The tribes who once lived in the house are gradually leaving, and the Tulou is in a dilemma that will be eliminated by the times at any time. Because it is built of rammed earth and wood, it takes a lot of money and manpower every year to maintain its integrity, but this persistence gradually become a mere formality. Matter, like human life, will eventually return to nature. Therefore, perhaps in the last time, we should learn to say goodbye tenderly. ADVISOR:SHI-HUA YENG CO-DESIGNER:JUM-MING PENG, YUN DING
From collapse to rebirth.
Our design retains part of the wood structure of the Tulou with a new structure. When its outer wall collapses into a mound, the surrounding high wall becomes an open landscape park, and the existing wooden frame is retained. Through this process, the spirit of the earth building continues, and we can also say goodbye to the Tulou, cherishing the present life and everything more.

This is the place that makes the frustrated people welcome a better tomorrow. With a cur ved wall, the outer clothing store and the inner bar space are simultaneously separated and connected. The water was flowing, and we were swimming like clownfish in the coral reef. When you leave tomorrow morning, pick out new clothes! I hope you can see your new self and continue to live happily ever after! ADVISOR:YING-ZE CHEN

06. BEFORE SUNRISE This is a ritual from sunset today to sunrise tomorrow, using the power of abstract space to influence the body's feelings. From the emergence of the mist to its dissipation, from the grass to the water, from anxiety to calm...
The bathhouse is located below the ground, but the steam its existence. The passengers in the accommodation space walked in the direction of the steam, and their mood gradually settled in the process. After passing through the woods, the enclosed space opens up again, and travelers will see the bathhouse buried in the ground!

"The design studio takes anonymous buildings as the starting point of space creation, and focuses on the architectural elements of anonymous structures and the types of spaces they constitute, including columns, windows, doors, walls, slopes, etc. The studio returns the above to the most basic discussion and definition with the attitude of Modernologio, as the object of thinking and operation of architectural design." 07. WHEN THE COLUMN NO LONGER SUPPORTS.
ADVISOR:BO-LYU JHAO, SIH-AN YU
The six columns I have found in the Houbi district of Tainan are structurally or symbolically supportive. They give a sense of the co-existing relationship between the force of upward support and the column.
34
Layers of planes cut out at each railing height
W.K.C. ARCHITECTURE PORTFOLIO
The three-dimensional grid system is developed after comprehensive consideration of three factors, such as window width (0.6m), aisle width (0.9m), and span. Every time the beams (1.2 meters) at the height of the railings are stacked up, they are moved one block diagonally upwards, so that the original railings gradually develop into unusual columns.
Among them, the real structural columns and the ver tical members of the balustrade are mixed with each other, trying to make people think about whether the seemingly unsupported balustrade can also have the strength of support.
36
W.K.C. ARCHITECTURE PORTFOLIO
Columns as thin as window frames hold up the space, balustrades one meter two high hold up the building... When the non-structural vertical elements simultaneously have the structural character of symbolic or substantial upward support, " The relationship between "support" and "column" also appears.

The grid system creates a shape that stacks diagonally upwards. These two spaces sometimes overlap and sometimes separate. People in the interior sometimes can only see from afar, and sometimes they can meet. I hope to express a relationship that is both estranged and intimate. The railing creates a more fragmented and intimate sense of space. The railing beam is not only a structure, but also creates a vague block of space, and this block can still be traversed by the body and sight.
W.K.C. ARCHITECTURE PORTFOLIO
The design continues the 3D grid system developed in the previous stage. The two "half" buildings are adjacent to each other. Due to the difference in the boundary relationship, the two spaces are sometimes overlapped and sometimes separated. The aim is to create a sense of intimacy between people with appropriate blank space.

The current Zhongzheng Road is not as important in traffic as it used to be, but it is still an important` urban axis.
The site is not only the endpoint of the commercial activities on Zhong-Zheng Road, but also an important urban landscape in front of Hele Square. Through the partial opening of the boundary space, urban activities can enter the interior of the building, which can not only expand the business, but also allow the internal staff to work in a more dynamic and changing environment, and improve the quality of output.

During my tenure as the president of the film club, in addition to conducting film criticism and production courses with a group of film lovers, we also planned the Green Bitter Melon Film Festival with the theme of young cutting-edge directors, so that NCKU, a place where film information is not active, can also have a place to communicate and discuss movies. The experience of the film club (1 year director + 2 year member) has improved my teamwork and coordination ability, and more importantly, it has made me understand that this world is full of infinite possibilities!
