What Does the Future Look Like After COVID-19?

 Have you ever thought about what the world will look like in a year? Five years? Or even 10?  There have already been many changes in our society from the impact of Covid-19. How many of them are long-lasting?  Might there possibly even more changes?  Although much of this remains to be seen, reading this should give you an idea of where we are headed after Covid-19.

Workplace and Professional Practices  There is much speculation of how and when the workforce will continue to evolve. Many workplaces were forced to suddenly switch to at-home work.  Now that employers have seen that the productivity will not decline, they may be more inclined to remain at home.  Companies can eliminate the overhead costs by having employees stay home.

 Of course, not all employees can work from home nor does everyone want to. There is an increased demand from workers to stay at home.  It is estimated that roughly 30% of the workers will stay home at lea st until the end of 2021 . It may also save money in other areas such as liability.  If someone gets hurt while working at home all they would have to do is a simple virtual health visit Honolulu.

 Some employers are seeing an increase in productivity. Most people working from home want to prove their usefulness from home by working even harder.

 While at an office, employees are sometimes away from their desk not working for as much as 50%. This waste of time and money is in contrast to the amount of work that they do from home.  This may cause an issue for some however due to blurred lines between work and home life.  As far as workplace etiquette goes there will most likely be a lot of changes.

 For those who would rather work at an office, it may be best to get a vaccine. We may see companies mandate their employees to get Covid-19 vaccines.  If that is the case it is easier than ever to go to a Covid-19 vaccine clinic in Waikiki.  The professional world has been ingrained with the importance of a good handshake. What we will likely see going forward is the acceptance of fewer handshakes taking place.

 They may not be gone forever but some declining to engage in one will be much less faux pas.  More indirect communication via video call, email, or phone call will continue to occur.  Cleanliness is now a priority and it can be expected that there will be a lot more of it.

Daily Life  Masks have become a part of our everyday lives. We have grown used to putting it on as part of our routine. Even joining the fashion in a major way in some cases.  Other cultures are more used to seeing and wearing masks. After a year with them, they are now a part of our culture.  We will probably see them as a preventative measure after a virtual health visit in Honolulu.

Booster Shot  In the immediate future, some of those who have gotten the vaccine may need to get another one every so often.  Much like the flu shot the body sometimes needs to be reminded how to fight the illness.  Not
