Soleil et Lune As the sun watches what you do and the moon teaches you to go through phases, your bodies become imbued with a sense of purpose that you'd never known before. The age-old narratives and tell-tales of history is an ensemble of events as you hover around these celestial bodies - the sun and moon. You'll see the presence of the sun as it radiates everlasting beams. You'll witness the glory of luna pulsating in the midnight sky. You live and hover with the thoughts contained within. You seek spiritual asylum, create a different order of dignity, virtue, and unassailable nobility.

“Lune chases Soleil Kim Dela Cruz. Watercolor on Canson Paper
Patterns. Routines. Cycles. More often than not, we dive in the comfortable rhythm of going after another especially when their glow eclipses the darkness that you own. For it is tried, tested, and true that Luna will always chase Soleil.

An Ode To My Sun Maria Patrisha Ivoreen Tamba You were there from the start Your presence pushed me to look out on the world As long as I have your light as my guide, I can see things clearly There's no reason to be afraid because you're here with me You're a blazing ball of fire Filled with the warmth of your love for me My source of life, my source of energy There's nothing I can't do As long as I'm with you But as I get older, I got used to your presence That I continued with my daily tasks Without giving you much attention It made my days become shorter I never noticed how your shine Started to flicker That you're already burning silently I thought you'll be forever with me Now that you're back to heaven, Slowly, darkness yields its way to me Your light strikes back to the clouds And the cold continues to creep in It may be too late I might have never told you too often But I hope you heard how my actions speak about my love for you Hoping I'm making you proud As I live my life the best way I can Because this will be my ode to you An Ode to my Sun An Ode to my Father.

Dear Selene,
I always see you in the dark A view so innocent and prim They only look at you When you’re whole But it was your phases That captivated me. I had to save you from obscurity So I gave my light Without uncertainty. Wishing to be your Helios Comes with its painful price: Loving you at a distance For I have to vanish every day Just to let you breathe at night. It is a vicious cycle Agonizing, heart-wrenching But I am willing to pay. It was eclipse When you revealed yourself A beauty so Junoesque Dainty and divine As you got close, Finally, I felt serene. As much as I wanted for time to stop, We cannot bend our fates You were for the stars at night I was for the light of day Divided by the universe – always. We crossed paths but will never be destined. Always take care of my light. See you at the next eclipse. Love, Helios.

Dear Helios, I always see you from afar A sight daring and bright They loved your glare But it was your sunspots That my heart yearned for. My love saved me From the blanketed nights It gave me a part of you, Love gave me light.
I longed to be your Selene So I tried to get close Dying to get a glimpse But as I rise every day, You disappeared like the wind Was it the flaws, the craters that I bare That pushed you away? Eclipse finally came My eyes locked with yours To a beauty so dashing Radiant and true As you got close Stronger, my love grew. I wanted for time to stop You and I, bending fates But time became faster Than it has ever been. We were parted by our worlds. We crossed paths but were never destined. Yet you will always be my light See you at the next eclipse. Love, Selene.

Further Away Glaiza Rae Amable We were two different entities who rarely meet (Being) suspended in the middle of the heavens and the abyss As your shadowy orange glow starts to transcend Darling, you know my tale comes to an end. Though born with keen specialty of shapeshifting (In) solitude and darkness I would rather be a pallid and flawed being A consequence produced by tender (love) and scar With someone who (is) beautiful, yet so bizarre. In your journey hides from me utterly what I have known The unquiet soul of you who captured glee with an inward moan Afloat into a world where passion (never) seems to faint And where you alone are (about) to solely acquaint. To give you (the) entire sky without judgement I caused myself a pained silence that turned to solid abandonment So you can shine in any way you want to And in every way you need to. Whether in fractions, or in whole, my love is visible in your rise We chase each other, but not a single contact happens between our bold eyes It is true that I take in the opposite direction of you with utmost fragility What is real is when our hearts beat in total (proximity).

MOONBRIGHT Nico Julleza The seraph sky on ebony night, A white marble of placid light. Casting to the living glass, Haunting, the feelings elapse. A time of gardenia drapes, Hanging the mourning wall. Scent of ambrosia fogging The pavement covered in moss. Portraits of Celts amidst, Drifting upon moonlight mist. Eyes delving, ears opt to hear, Voices whisper of ancient fear. An oracle muses the unguided, As trees speak the truth. Humanity strives to be the art, Yet only remembered by a few.

INTERVALS Leunamme Pabion The night had fallen. The obscure surrounding summoned that even a fraction of moon was vein. The essence of it roamed like some horrible monster ready to succumb. It devoured and impaired your frame of emotions and left your life with an aching destruction. But then, the dawn penetrated and the rays of the sun saturated. It was awfully exhausting, the interval of events recurring. The only lesson you were bound to learn was to accumulate hope into strength. To bring out the astonishing elegance of a blazing, fiery vengeance.

Into the stars Mark Anthony Masacote O creature divine, Your eyes are oceans. They leave me lost in the unknowable depth of their wonders unfathomable. Sink. Steal. Sever. Pull me more under. Let the voyage of my mind reach through the tunnels of your soul. Cage me, lead me, lure me in the pitch-black deep until I lose my senses. Furious. Faithful. Free. In their labyrinth I shall saunter, entrusting the entirety of my existence in this blind, hopeful intuition. Let me, and in the darkness our spirits will rejoice. Deeper. Darker. Driven. Walk with me. No. Fly with me instead. Let these wings of wax carry us away in the evening’s silence. Farther, fearless, foregoing. The uncontainable yearning for freedom is finally at an end.

Lustrous. Liberal. Lionhearted. We don’t belong here. We belong there beyond. Someplace where the luminescence of our souls cannot be contained. We belong among the stars of the night sky. And up there, we rise.

Seen Harriette "People even thought I wasn't the center of the solar system before," he snickers at that thought. "I have seen it all; From when it was empty, To when it was not. From when earthlings who jogged at night Chose to jog at day From when the river was a home of the eel To when it was a dumpsite of corpses From when a child was heading to the tiyangge To when he did not make it From when the blue uniforms were blue To when they were stained red by the very wearers From when a sea full of creation and dynamics Became a sea of commerce and plastics From when the poor had something to eat To when they didn't; From when no woman was touched To when they were groped and ravished without concur" How did it all happen in the light of day? "It didn't; ask my friend, the moon."

Coexist /HMV/ The distance is what sets apart, Two diverse beings that are meant for love. Lightness is what she has adored, But in darkness, he found his home. In a universe of exploding stars, The sun smiled, resembling beauty. The moon, however, not able to see it, Had lived his life in full misery. Spying slyly in a starlit sky, Wondering when will they ever pass by As the crimson sun sat in sorrow, Earnestly praying for their love In the power of tomorrow. And so, in a world of uncertainties, Miracles such as eclipse endure to exist And as they had beared patiently, The day came, in the name of love, Both had coexisted beautifully.

City Lights Mark Anthony Masacote I can hear the effervescent silence. It brings neither thoughts of peace nor tranquility. I laid beside you and I was nervous. Enthralled. Uneasy. All I hear is the continuous, uniformed echoes Of the ticking of the old wall clock amidst The soundlessness of the second hour past Midnight I can feel the heavy pounding of my pulses Stronger. Louder. The lights remained off, yet the soft luminescent glow of the bone-colored moon shone with the faint light of aquamarine hue. I can smell caffeine from an old coffee cup. Stimulating. Bold. I never lost sight of it. The beauty of the Silhouette of your well-defined jaw, and the 22

Accumulating drops of sweat exiting your temples. After a few seconds I began to savor the quiet Adjusted. Comfortable. There we are, laying against the cold granite floors That were gradually warmed by our backs. We had no pillow but we had my jacket, and your right Foot, resting atop mine. We savored the peace of an intimate time. Peaceful. Calm. We stayed silent. For an hour and a half, we just laid There facing the open windows that drove away the greed Of the thick, frosted glass from concealing the City lights It was beautiful, and it was nice. Luminescent Striking. Although I needn’t admire its beauty nor that of the stars. Your eyes were enough. They were beautiful, brown, and They glowed like honey; restful and open, effortlessly Mirroring the galaxies. Irong-Irong

Daybreak Nico Julleza The daystar fills his folly time; warmth, passion, fulfillment and ease. But thy heart was blinded by much uncertainty. His love for the night is like a transient song with the urge to lurk a distant tone. For as he knew; one can never be wrong The beam of the moon wakes, And lo, it silks to that may-time dew. She rises and sets to an empty hemisphere to yonder mountains of ebony hue. An angel cries for thy night has fallen to thee. To that heartless lover without a single plea. The heartless day, the drops of night. A blazing trail of his dubious light. The day ponders to his dessert dreams, may they meet again or never again as it seems. As the night trod to her vanishing place. She gazed to the day rising to his misty grace.

Magaling akong Kumabisado Emy Rose Gallego
