It’s What We Do How we support the emergency effort

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers personnel deployed after Hurricane Dorian passed over Florida in September 2019. Our focus was on helping citizens recover from the storm– to return communities to normal as soon as possible. The Corps ensured Herbert Hoover Dike was safe, channel floors were clear of debris, and documented the impact on Florida beaches.
